    Today is National Flag Day!

    https://www.history.com/news/what-is-flag-day

Show us your American Flags on the day in which the United States adopted a single flag for their nation. Also follow President Biden's example and make it an entire week long celebration!

The White House celebrated the flag of the trans psychosis a few days ago.

In the U.S., it is National Flag Day, which (National Flag) today is publicly and defiantly ignored even by former satellites.
Saudi Arabia, for example, sets only its own flag at an official negotiations, ignoring the American flag.
What does this tell us? Maybe that the whole world understands the inevitable and imminent collapse of the United States?

You mean they didn't bring out the magical orb of Thott and dance around with swords? Man, the US has fallen.

So our flag gets a week…

Our war dead gets a day…

    Our veterans get a day…

But every Democrat constituency group like gays, blacks and women get a month.

    Lol

But it isn't the gay black and women group. It's the Democrat group only. It's a political affiliation flag. Like Biden said, "if you don't vote for me, you ain't black!" it also ignored the numerous women, blacks, and gays who don't support the flag.

At the end of the day, it's just the Democrat party flag and only gay veteran lives matter. The American flag is only for the old racist white males that died.

Soon progressive Democrats as a whole will view the American flag with the same contempt that they view the Confederate flag

I feel very little when I see it anymore. When our nation lost its moral authority, justifying any act, any cruelty in defense of 'liberty', the stars and stripes became just a symbol for nationalist fervor, no different than a hundred other such symbols of nationalistic fervor.

I am a long time southerner by birth. I'm not going to disown the flag of my nation's heritage because of some actions in the past.

Slavery was also legal under the United States flag for 77 years and also the genocide of the Indians happened under the United States flag. Are people going to disown it because of that?

We fixed the mistake and got those who wanted to continue to get on board. Freedom won. We shouldn’t celebrate freedom haters. Ever.

Our nation lost its moral authority because its criminal and immoral government led the way.

I'm sure that some of the remaining surviving native Americans might feel a little bit differently.... Of course there's not that many of them left around, you know the ones we didn't get around to killing .

No one is proud of any of that and you definitely shouldn't be proud of having the flag of a failed nation that no longer exists and fought for slavery.

You might hate the Southern heritage but it's part of this nation's history and shouldn't be forgotten

The "Confederate battle flag" as is being used today, was never used by the southern confederacy. The Dixiecrats aka the nazicrats used it, just like the KKK.

You can remember history without celebrating it. No one has a problem with remembering the Confederacy. We have a problem with celebrating it.

It was used. It just wasn't used as the flag to represent the whole "nation." It was used as a battle flag, not a national flag.

Yeah and so, the heritage is only about murdering around as a soldier for the sake to have slaves. Hence nazicrats and the KKK used it too.
When somebody claims this is "nation's heritage", than that's the heritage. It's not about southern hospitality.

The Confederacy didn't stand for southern hospitality. It stood for slavery. I love southern hospitality. It's why I've stayed here despite having opportunities to leave.

That is usually not what people say when they want to honor that flag.

The fact that they lost and no longer exist after lasting only 4 years and tried to protect slavery shouldn't be forgotten either, nor should we forget that some people love to associate themselves with it despite those things, nor also the fact that they were traitorous. Your "heritage" nation lasted as long as the average high school career.

Agreed. Most of of the people who honor that flag are just Lynyrd Skynyrd fans and the like and are not aware of the actual history of the Confederacy. I've stated this at least half a dozen times or so before on the forums. Anyone who denies that the Confederacy stood for slavery is historically illiterate.

Using any symbol of the Confederacy to symbolize southern culture is as dumb as using any symbol of the Stalin to celebrate vodka.

Good point. I had my Toyota Yaris for 2.5 times longer than the Confederacy existed. I don't use my Yaris to encapsulate my identity. I saw a meme once talking about how the show Golden Girls lasted longer than the Confederacy did, so if you want a symbol of the south, go with a statue of Blanche instead of a Confederate flag.
