How does the old saying go, go woke and bad things happen, or something like that.

It looks like Costco won't be carrying Bud Light much longer and I can't imagine why. I was in Walmart last night to get some beer and the Bud Light section was full and didn't appear to be selling and it's been like that every time I go shopping these days. Luckily, I was able to snatch up the last two 30 packs of Miller Lite. (folks, don't beer snob me, I like Miller Lite)

Bud Light has to man up and just say two marketing idiots made a huge mistake partnering up with a person who is not representative of traditional Bud Light customers, that's what White Claw is for. It was a gigantic error in judgement, no sane marketing person ever would have made such a foolish move, and those two numb nuts were fired for doing what they did without seeking input from senior leadership.

From the stories I've seen, a lot of people who work as distributors and at the bottling plants lost their jobs. For the sake of the people who lost their jobs as well as their own necks, Bud Light's top dogs has to come out and offer a very sincere explanation and apology.

I think this is a warning to any company that has almost an exclusive conservative audience. Any support of anything outside of a Capitol insurrection will not be tolerated.

I wonder if this will impact their lobbying and donations

It is a bad idea to sell politics with a product. You cut your potential customers in half. In this case, their regular customers changed brands.

It is, but if i really like a product I'll still get it. I remember when gillette did this lame virtue signaling video that shows women getting harassed by men (all white) and guess who was standing up to protect them? Black men. because you know, they never HOLLA at DEY GURL or punch random women in the subway or anything like that! Not ever.
But, i still like their razors.
I jsut think bud light is not a good enough beer to put up with virtue signaling in peoples faces.
    THEY FAILED

The top selling beer in the US is now Modelo … way to support your American brewery workers snowflakes …

I wouldn’t even know how Dylan Mulvaney is were it not for the delicate blossoms that populate this place …

Here's a list of boycotts, several of them by LGB groups. The list doesn't include the boycotts against My Pillow and Trump's hotels. Is CA still boycotting other states? The answer is yes.

Why would I care about a rapidly declining screaming minority that cannot even win national elections against a turnip?

You will notice that most of those boycotts are because those entities are pushing legislation that seeks to lessen the rights of others. Your side boycotts for too much representation

Modelo is actually a pretty good beer. I first tried it in Mexico. I do find the strange foil wrap at the top of the bottles to be annoying but I love the taste of the beer.

It worries me that conservatives seem to be the drinkers in this country.

    It also explains a lot.

Bud light is cheap and nasty.

What my European friends would call "love in a canoe" beer.

On deck is Maybelline. Some folks just don’t learn.

MAYBELLINE TELLS BUD LIGHT TO HOLD ITS BEER WITH ‘DISTURBING’ NEW PROMOTION

    Maybelline loves Bud Light.

Frankly, that’s the only explanation to one of the dumbest, most insulting promotions I’ve ever seen.

The popular makeup and cosmetic company rolled out a new promotion for Amazon’s Prime Day(s) earlier this week, which wasn’t a big deal. Any company with half a brain was doing that.

Unfortunately, it appears the other half of Maybelline’s said brain is no longer functioning.

The company is under intense backlash after using a man — influencer Ryan Vita, who prefers the pronouns she/he/they according to Instagram — to model lipstick in the Amazon promotion.

I think they prefer drugs and the harder the better. That's why they don't want a secure border, securing it would increase the cost of their habit.

I still don't see why that needed to become any kind of massive national controversy though. If a couple of individuals within the company make an error of judgement (in your opinion) on a single tiny marketing partnership, why should that lead to anything more than a tiny lost cost and a loss of face for the individuals involved?

If a company you happen buy from seeks to expand their customer base with additional marketing on new platforms and in new directions (which makes obvious business sense), how does that make the blindest bit of difference to you? You can still buy exactly the same product and see all their existing advertising, which hasn't changed. If you hadn't been told to be angry by extremist media, you wouldn't have even known about any of this, and would have carried on as you were. Bud Light didn't do this to you, you did it to yourself.
