But we cannot ignore the fact that for 15 years, the Palestinians have allowed themselves to be dominated by Hamas, which only wants to shed Jewish blood.

The international community has been greatly sensitized by the situation of abject poverty experienced by the Palestinians in the occupied territories and if it had not been for Hamas, it would have been possible, with a moderate political party, to force the Israelis to compromise.

You obviously do not know how Hamas works... the last thing they want is to look different TO the Israeli.... they dress and mingle among the citizens... that is why they use women and children as shields in schools and have one of their major command centers under a hospital.... the LAST thing they are going to do is put on a suit that distinguishes them as the sneaking slime balls they are. Six million jews and other Bohemian groups may have a different opinion. I had a Great Grand Mother put to death in Dacha. I also had a young relative, with other children, that were used as an experimental subject by the Nazis in France and were eventually killed. I never knew them. but, they brought great anxiety to my grandmother as I was growing up.

 

So what do you expect Israel to do with a group whose stated goal is the wholesale annihilation of Israel and a population who are gleeful and dancing and beating the **** out of captives that terrorist organization just kidnapped and brought back to their town. Not to mention they willfully allow those “extremists” to set up space in their homes and buildings to operate out of?

So they need to get warrants, search for evidence, arrest those involved and then give them a public trial. After this, they should receive the punishment Israel currently has on the books for such crimes.

 

On what grounds? Gaza is not under Israel’s control and they have no responsibility to them. As evidenced by the fact they have been considered “occupiers” by the UN even after they withdrew every military asset from Gaza. You can’t be an occupier in your own country.

So which is it? Either they’re an occupier as they’ve been designated for decades, meaning they have no responsibility for Gaza or to provide them a damn thing. Or it’s their country and they’re not occupiers and they can settle it however the **** they want. They can send settlers into Gaza every day for the next 400 years if it’s their country lol

When a country occupies a territory, they are responsible for it. 99% of countries in the world agree with this.
