Wanna bet, if he was a DEM and carried the same level of negative baggage and behaved so childishly and undiplomatically ..he would have been discredited early on, His cult like followers are so mesmerized by T , not sure they can be objective anymore.

A demagogue is a threat to democracy, and a demagogue can use democracy, usurp, and destroy it, if the electorate isn't vigilant.

The best thing to do with a demagogue is precisely what we are trying to with the demagogue.

I agree than a Dem will get the trump-treatment in response and that things will continue to go down this ugly path. If you are a dem, you are in no position to criticize cult-like following. If anything, dems want more government doing more of our thinking for us. I am not a fan of trump and would never vote for him.

Dems are on the T team and work for him free of charge every day. Someone like him would never have a chance if it weren't for the Dems making him a better choice than the woke, broke, joke they are creating.

It is only a matter of time until a Dem gets the trump-treatment. Perhaps reps will find similar ways to circumvent the will of voters and we will see lots of outrage from the same people cheering for this.

 

Cult-like following involves turning off ones mind and allowing others to do your thinking for you. The leader of the cult makes more decisions for the follower.

Dems support big government and more government involvement in our decisions and are therefor more cult-like than those who would vote for trump.
