Misinformation. Following vaccination, there is a period of time where vaccination with the Moderna or Pfizer mRNA vaccines protects against infection. If you don't contract covid, you can't pass it on. After protection against infection wanes, the vaccines continue to protect against more serious illness.

I've presented the evidence many times on this forum. Many times.
There is plenty of evidence for it being safe for most people over 70. Some older folks with reasonably rare conditions may not have all the information they need.
There is evidence for people at more risk. Covid vaccine side effects are widely studied.
Requiring vaccinations was a private matter except in cases where government required them.

You're upset folks are getting vaccinated? Or rare individuals are wearing masks?

    Why do you care?

    N100, P100 respirators are effective.
Republicans definitely knew keeping all businesses open actually hurt the economy.
There is PPE they can wear that is effective and can be worn.
Sweden gave up on the let-'em-catch-it approach.

What you don't seem to understand about the economy is that more virus circulating means reduced business at malls, restaurants, bars, etc. Just keeping the doors open as they did in Florida and Texas didn't get people out.
It stopped them from spreading covid to others if they got it.

Those that are young and healthy are at extremely low risk to covid. I am healthy for which I am very thankful. I chose to get vaccinated because I am old. Regardless that doesn't affect you because those vaccinated can still be infected and can still pass on the covid virus. My vaccination status does not affect your health in the least.

They do not provide 100% protection or prevention and so can not be relied upon for protection and prevention.

    Hurt the economy? That's BS.

Sweden did not give up on their plan.

I was in Florida. There were lots of people out and about.

More virus circulating among healthy people is of no consequence.

It doesn't matter if young and healthy people contract the virus. Most infected people did not even know they had it.

They don't have the information because the information was suppressed.

Covid side effects are real. And sometimes more serious than Covid. Children who are healthy are at no risk from covid but many have died from Myocarditis after receiving the vaccines.

    You couldn't travel without vaccination.

Don't you find it very interesting that one of the most sanitized places in a community (you would think), a hospital, has these bugs running rampant? Good thing for Obama Care! :roflol:

    Here is Bing:

"According to a fact-check by USA Today, vaccinated individuals are less likely to contract COVID-19 than unvaccinated people (1). The vaccines are designed to prevent severe infection, hospitalization, and death (1). A National Geographic article states that vaccines substantially reduce infections and therefore reduce the possibility of a vaccinated person infecting others (2). A World Economic Forum article reports that vaccinated people carry a lower viral load in their body than unvaccinated people, making them less contagious (3). However, it is still possible for vaccinated individuals to contract COVID-19, especially if they are exposed to the virus in a high-risk environment (4). It is important to continue following public health guidelines such as wearing masks, practicing social distancing, and washing hands frequently to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 (4)(1)(3)."

    The vaccines do slow transmission.

Yeah, sure they do. Why are there still cases occurring, even among the fully vaxed and boosted? auiqs.jpg.gif

    You would be spreading misinformation.
The vaccines do reduce the risk of contracting covid.
Mostly, yes, but not if you work in a private skilled nursing facility and your employer says you must get vaccinated.
You don't have a right to a job.

And again if you are young and healthy it doesn't matter. Those people are at very low risk to covid but are exposed to serious side effects from the vaccines.

Those who are over the age of 70 with the CDC pre conditions must be very careful. And family members who come into contact with them must also take precautions not to infect them.

It reduces your chance of getting covid and the severity of disease if you do.

So sorry. Never have and never will buy that narrative.

More likely to give you something far more exotic, than COVID. Remember the statements made by our governments, "Experimental drug" .

I was talking about the questionable advice to old people that they should eschew vaccination.

It is not misinformation to inform someone that masks and vaccinations do not absolutely prevent infection. It is criminal to imply that masks and vaccinations do absolutely prevent infection.

You have a right to not be fired for making a personal decision. The health care workers are the heroes who saved many lives.

That is a personal health decision. Again vaccination prevents nothing.

I am saying that is a personal decision. If an elderly person is healthy they imo do not need to be exposed to the side effects of covid vaccines.

What imo is irresponsible and possibly criminal is the contention by public health officials that wearing masks prevents infection and also prevents the spread of the covid virus carried by aerosol particles.

There is no mask study which shows that masks or respirators are 100% effective at stopping aerosol particles. That information should be made clear in any advice or requirement to wear masks in public places. People who have tested positive have gone out in public with masks thinking that there was no chance of infecting others.

More like bullshit spread thickly onto toast. Do you consider that those who do the research are directly funded by Big Pharma, and not independently done? So that makes it a biased study/report or whatever. Just so the likes of you and countless others can feel warm and fuzzy, think they've done, and advocate the right thing.
