You are. You said: You guys think just having a weapon makes you a cop. No one has taken this position -- thus, you made it up. You made up a position no one argued just so you had something to argue against. Thus: Unable to present anything meaningful, you have been reduced to making things up.
Nothing here changes the fact you are unable to present anything meaningful and have been reduced to making things up.
I personally think its super distasteful for him to try and cash in on corpses. He got very lucky with the verdict and the fact that those corpses were WHITE! Yes, he defended himself but he should have never been there in the first place. If people wanna run around like a bunch of idiotic wannabee action heroes, bad things gonna happen!
M'kay. Not according to the evidence. So much for the claims Kyle is a racist. There's no need for any of the words past "himself" Kyle had a right to be everywhere he was, and acted legally on all points
He had the right to stay the hell home and mind his own business. I agree 100% with the verdict but the whole thing could have been avoided. He didn't look so brave when he was crying like a 5 year old girl in court
Kyle also had a right to be everywhere he was, and acted legally on all points You'd cry too, facing life in prison and getting 5 not guilty verdicts..
I wouldn't be in that situation because I wouldn't go run around a protest with a gun like an idiot, i'd be home watching other people do it instead. Actions have consequences, like I said, thank goodness for him the people were white
And yet another made up claim. I guess you are unfamiliar with the 2nd amendment You seem to get accused by other posters for making up claims. Wonder why?
Unlike you, the local people were protecting their own businesses because the idiotic Mayor REFUSED to allow their own law enforcement to do it. This after 6 months or murdering Americans, burning down billions in American businesses, looting, taking over the city of Seattle, burning down federal buildings, and on and on They had enough and recruited individuals willing to help defend their properties. But you just decided to leave all that out I see.
Why do you think you won't be in a situation where you shoot three people in self-defense and then stand trial?
So, you can't say you'd not be in that position. Thus You'd cry too, facing life in prison and getting 5 not guilty verdicts..
Those are actually some good points that I can't really dispute much. It think my personal hate of protestors is leaking over into my replies and these things are better with emotions kept out of it. Thank you for your constructive response
Again: No one needs to be deputized to keep and bear arms, to defend themselves, or to defend others. No, they think it makes them able to respond in self defense or defense of others and pedo and the wifebeater learned that. Lefty even gets a second try at life.
He did not put himself in any situation where it was acceptable for any of the 3 people he shot to assail him. Nor would it be morally right to assail him. That means it was legal to self defend, and morally right as well.
But I would tend to agree, I wouldn't send my kids down there and as business owner, I wouldn't want a 17 year old kid defending my property either. If the kid was killed or injured, I would blame the business owner for that. But I am under the impression he was recruited by other friends to go. But again, his mom dropped him off? Really? Back to the disaster at hand, these democrat Mayors were allowing these riots to continue night after night. If I owned a business or a friend of mine did, I would be down there defending his property (or my own) If anything good came of it, it might be that these rioters got the news if they attack people they would be shot. Then I watch these thugs smash and grabbing stores. It angers me beyond belief.
his argument is akin to blaming a woman who is raped because she was out for a walk in something more revealing than a burkha
I used to say that as well. But I found myself twice confronted by criminals with ill intent. Once on my boat 20 miles off shore in Florida, until they were looking down the barrel of my Winchester Defender 12 gage. And the second time taking my family to the circus (again in Florida) by two car jackers at a red light stuck between vehicles with my two kids in the car. If it wasn't for my 45 in their faces it would have taken a different turn. I don't advocate for any violence but I will damn sure respond to it in kind. Luckily I have never shot a civilian and my posture in those situations was convincing enough to thwart their intent, but its also why I carry. Its like the ole saying about having a condom. I'd rather have one and not need it Than need it and not have one.
The prosecution had no case. He never should have been charged in the first place. There was no luck.
“Fine go ahead and exercise a right in an unknown neighborhood and see what happens!” How about people should leave you alone and don’t try to harm you for putting out a fire?
Wisconsin effectively has an affirmative right to self defense. The prosecution has to disprove your assertion of self defense. Also, your assailant doesn’t need to be armed in order to exercise your right to defend yourself if you fear serious bodily injury. Being armed has nothing to do with it. This is also false. Rosenbaum’s lunge was described in great detail by eye witness testimony and forensic analysis. It was a large part of the trial. For example, we know that there were marks on the insides of his fingers which indicates his hand was effectively touching the barrel or was about to be touching the barrel when he was shot. This child diddling, mentally ill, violent felon had no right to attack or attempt to gain possession of a minor’s firearm. Victim blaming is very unbecoming. If people didn’t start a fire someone wouldn’t have gone to put it out. That is the sad reality. Siding with violent arsonists because you don’t like the choices of a law abiding citizen who put out their fire is absurd.
Most business insurance does not cover arson. So when we had the BLM riots and they were burning down businesses people were losing everything. In this instance, the rioters were targeting the car dealerships as a form of class warfare. The owner reached out to his friends and asked if they could come and hang out at his dealership lots in hopes that their presence would deter arson of his property. Nobody went there with the intent of killing rioters, in fact Rittenhouse was on video providing first aid to rioters who had been injured by police. The reason the rioters went after Rittenhouse was because he put out a fire they started at a car dealership. Rosenbaum chased him down and cornered him while his friend was firing his pistol off behind Rittenhouse. He only shot Rosenbaum after he was lunging for his firearm and nearly got a hand on his rifle. As a reminder Rittenhouse was hearing gun fire behind him as the crowd was chasing him and yelling violent rhetoric. And, Rosenbaum was trying to harm him and take away his ability to defend himself from a violent and armed mob chasing him while he was hearing gunshots from that same mob.
