There were protests and property damage in November 2016 in Oakland and a few other places, but no violence. This is an internet rumor and myth.

For instance, there was a protest on the day before DJT took the oath of office. This is where "Baby Trump" balloon made its debut I believe at the National Mall. But no violence in the Nation's capital as you were alluding to. All in all, from what this article said on the day of the protest, 6 officers were injured and 217 people arrested. Ironically, the Trump DOJ dropped all charges of the remaining protesters as well after 6 were acquitted. But the article is not clear on how the officers were injured or how and why someone was shot during the protest. But it does not compare to what happened on January 6th and the intention of that incident by pro Trump Supporters. the only thing that compares is The Confederacy firing on Fort Sumpter. And we all know how history treated that little incident, don't we.

 

But bein paid by tax dollars from various sources. Thus it is not free, is it? Like our "free public education system we have for primary and secondary schools?
