Let's get back on topic: Maine and Colorado are on constitutionally dubious(flat out illegal) ground and temporarily induced a constitutional crisis wherein some would keep Trump on the ballot and others wouldn't, reviving the same conditions as the Continental Dollar Crisis.

    https://libertystreeteconomics.newy...isis-of-1779-and-todays-european-debt-crisis/

This case is going to be 9-0'd by the Supreme Court as the Maine and Colorado decisions flout Federal Law.

So, democrats are not keeping quiet anymore about their willingness to engage in third world authoritarianism. Can't beat the guy at the polls because you don't have the ability to stuff the mail in ballots? Keep him off the ballot entirely. Why? That's the real question. Why do democrats believe that they are so entitled to engage in this kind of tyranny? Do they really believe that the citizens of the US don't have any recourse? Colorado is already seeing the economic effects of folks not traveling to CO for vacations. Maine looks to be joining the party. Kooky liberal women. Wrapped up in the "cause mommy said so" BS.

Of course they cannot. But for democrats, only the power of the state can produce the kind of tyranny they so look forward to each day.

And anyone with a High school reading ability would know shes not qualified to even make that decision.
Are you one of those who thinks the constitution gives a Secretary of State the power to make that decision?

That would be your own comprehension problem because he never said anything like that.

Oh, boofuckinghoo. He doesn't get to steal government documents and then hide them and lie about. He doesn't get to fabricate BS about a stolen election in order to cause an insurrection and steal democracy. Those actions have consequences, and it's sickening to see Americans try to implicate Biden where there's zero evidence of wrongdoing and ignore a REAL MOUNTAIN OF EVIENCE against the Orange Starfish.

Let's look at how the Secretary of State disqualified the Orange Butthair in order to debunk RW nonsense about how it happened:

    https://www.npr.org/2024/01/02/1222389987/donald-trump-maine-election-ballot-2024-supreme-court

Under Maine law, when I qualified Mr. Trump for the ballot, any registered voter had the right to challenge that qualification. Five voters did so, including two former Republican state senators. And then I was required under the statute, under the law, to hold a hearing and issue a decision, and do so within a very compressed timeline. So this wasn't something I initiated, but it's something that's required under Maine election law.

Detrow: So the question came to you, but it puts you in the position of weighing a really serious question with big consequences that's in front of a lot of state courts right now. And that is this question of whether the attempt to overturn the election and what happened on January 6 was insurrection. How did you think about that key question?

Bellows: So I reviewed very carefully the hearing proceedings and the weight of the evidence presented to me at the hearing. And that evidence made clear, first, that those events of January 6, 2021 — and we all witnessed them — they were unprecedented. They were tragic. But they were an attack not only upon the capital and government officials, but also an attack on the rule of law, on the peaceful transfer of power. And the evidence presented at the hearing demonstrated that they occurred at the behest of, and with the knowledge and support of, the outgoing president. And the United States Constitution does not tolerate an assault on the foundations of our government. And under Maine election law, I was required to act in response.

Detrow: And I understand, as you point out, this is the way the system is set up. You are put in the position of making this ruling. But I do want to ask about some of the specific criticism that has come your way following this ruling.

    LOL

Of course states rights apply. Anything not explicitly outlined in the Constitution falls per 10th amendment to the States.

Since the exact application of a moratorium for running for election if one trespasses 14A, Sec 3 is not in the Constitution then the aoplication of 14A, Sec 3 falls to the states.

    It's civics 101.

Ok, so apply that to the brain dead idiot in the whitehouse today. I'll gladly accept Biden being removed from office by the same folks who impeached Trump. When do you suppose that's going to kick off?

They just love using a microscope to look at a few sentences and making their interpretations like any amendment stands apart from the entire constitution.
Which is why these adolescent interpretations get shot down by the SCOTUS so always.

You mean Hunter Biden who, working as Joe Biden's agent took illegal foreign bribes for policy? Documented in the emails on the laptop that also showed junior Biden having sex with under age girls in China? So, you're going to be demanding prosecution then, right?

Hmm... interesting interpretation comrade...... Actually, if you can show how, for example, a state has the right to interpret a federal amendment,...... The thing is, when you assert the right, you should be able to actual show how the mechanism you assume is in play should actually be implemented.... But, I suppose you just never thought anyone would call you on this.

    True, Nemesis...
The pathetic idiot (Massie) seems to not realize that the NEW House (most likely Dem.) will decide those matters...
Of course, Massie has succeeded in furnishing people (who have nothing else) with an easily destroyed talking point...
