Nah, it just 'accidentally wound up there'. This feels a lot like Comey's excuse for HRC, which okay if we're gonna excuse it like that then maybe it could've been excused for Trump as well, since more or less we knew where the documents would be.(there wouldn't have been a subpoena otherwise)

It might just require rewriting the Archives Act, but I am for that since most FMR Presidents(due to an advisory type role) get access anyway.

Doesn't matter. Unless the person is at the very least charged with insurrection/rebellion then the clause does not apply. Otherwise you will have every single red state removing democratic party presidential hopefuls form the ballots and only adding the Republican ones, and blue states will start doing the same only for Republicans. All based on one persons "opinion". This is a stupid ploy by Democrats and they are doing far more damage to Democracy than anything that they think Trump can do.

    For the 50th bloody time…

The 14th Amendment DOES NOT REQUIRE A CONVICTION…!!

And if it can be shown that ANY other candidate “engaged in rebellion”, or supported it, then have at it!

1: I didn't say conviction. I said at least be charged with one of those.

2: The rest of what I said will start happening if you go along with the stupid idea that it doesn't at least require a charge. That is a guarantee. Remember, its your sides stupid idea. If it doesn't require at least one of those then all that is left is up to opinion. And opinions are like *******s, everyone has one and they all stink to high heaven.

It’s your bloody constitution mate. It seems pretty clear as to what it expects to be done…

Yep, it does. And guess what....one persons personal opinion is not what it takes. But if Trump haters get their way, it will become that way.

Yes, it's not about the law and Trump's flagrant disregard for it; it's magically about people who "hate" him. Good job of trivializing the circumstances.

You've been warned of the consequences if you get your way. Don't cry about it later on down the road.

Accountability? I'm not worried about that.

Uh huh...Tell me...what did you think when Repubs nuked the 60 vote count for SCOTUS judges?

Oh...not well. Your side was warned about that also when Reed nuked it for the lower court judges. Just like you're being warned about this now. But your hatred of all things Trump won't let you see the obvious.

Reid wasn’t even concerned about the future.

It was called the nuclear option for a reason. Once you launch your nuke, who you launched it at is going to launch their own. Because that is what will happen, we are still alive. Thank you, M.A.D.

Looks like, as predicted, the SC will rule that it's not up to the states to decide who can be on the ballot or not. It also looks like this SC court ruling will not be along "party lines". Good!!
