Please stick to the topic. Dems incentivize illegal immigration with sanctuary, drivers licenses, and free healthcare. You cannot make an honest case that there is a genuine concern for humanity. The suffering associated with dem border policies is an acceptable price for the votes it brings in. Can you address that fact directly?

So a barrier should be placed there?

As required by law for asylum seekers. Courts refused to let them stop it.

Nope. Last I checked, the SCOTUS left that decision to the discretion of the White House.

Biden be like Antifa waving millions of migrants into what was our country....

I agree with you in that the rulings of the courts need to be obeyed. If we start to pick and choose what we'll follow and what we'll ignore that creates a gigantic mess. That said, if the federal government cannot or will not do the job, and when it comes to the border they aren't, then what do we do? I don't find it unreasonable for the state government at that point of failure to step in as a backstop.

I don't equate being less cruel to 'incentivizing'.

Being cruel is as nonstarter, striving to be humane IS THE BASELINE.

So, there is no valid comparison.

No one has solved the border problem, that is not a partisan issue.

If you are a republican, write to your congressman to encourage Speaker Johnson to bring the Biden immigration bill to the floor. Then repubs and dems can debate it's provisions, make amendments to it, etc., and from there it will go to the senate for more adjustments, and the bill will go back and forth a couple of times until both have something they both can live with, and that's how it is done. There is no other way government works. This problem is too big for any EO to fix, it needs a comprehensive solution. And tell your friends on the right to do the same.

That's the bare minimum first step. Bellyaching about it gets nothing done,

You are incorrect. Illegal immigration provides a steady stream of income to the cartels. They must pass through their territory to get to our southern border. These people are at the mercy of the cartels and often fall victim to exploitation. Even those that make it here had to pay the cartels or they owe a debt. It is a partisan issue because Dems are incentivizing illegal immigration by offering free healthcare, drivers license, sanctuary, etc.

    What we know:

    1. Illegal immigration strengthens cartels and their industry. (Human trafficking, sex tourism, extortion, guns, drugs, forced servitude, child exploitation, rape, murder, etc.)
    2. Dems encourage/incentivize illegal immigration.

There are only 2 possible conclusions:

    1. Dems are unaware of the suffering their policies create.
    2. The suffering they create is an acceptable price for the votes.

The stuff is there to keep people from scaling fences. Barbed wire is not a new thing and is quite ubiquitous. They know the risks and take them anyway. That’s illogical thinking to me. Thinking making it easier for people to illegally enter the country is illogical to me. Thinking making it easier for illegals to get into the country by removing barbed wire from a fence, while also thinking it’s ok to use it to keep us away from our Capitol, is also illogical.

    I'm not.

Yes, Congress could solve the problem in multiple ways. I think there is also a Tenth Amendment argument to be made in Texas's favor.

Applying for asylum at a port of entry is legal, yet you claim that too benefits cartels.

No one denying the problem, so you arguing something I didn't argue.

now, let's get to the correct issue before us:

The Biden immigration bill is a comprehensive bill, and Johnson won't put it to the floor for debate.

That proves, right there, the right isn't interested in doing anything about it, they, like you, just want to bellyache about it and score cheap political points.

You said "Biden Admin, with the help of the Supreme Court, conservatives siding with liberals, won the Texas Border battle."

I pointed out to you that the battle has not been won yet. Your thoughts on Abbot or what you think of the letter matters not one iota to me. I was just showing you that the battle is still ongoing.

Only the Federal Government may invoke federal law. Before even hearing oval arguments on the 14th amendment conspiracy theory to interfere with the Presidential elections, the States were handed a crushing blow and defeat. I have to imagine deciding this case first was on purpose. This was SCOTUS telling Colorado and Maine: Don't be stupid.

They have a chance to rescind their cases, admit to the country and the world that they made a mistake and the Presidential elections will proceed without incident.

So according to you, its ok to use barbed wire against Americans, but not against illegals.
    Got it

So, just to understand you correctly, you are for open borders and tens of thousands of illegals coming here daily?

Aren't the cartels the main reason people would seek asylum?

These are human beings. To trivialize their suffering to mere "bellyaching" only proves that the concern for humanity I keep hearing about is not genuine.

Do you oppose your party's policies on incentivizing illegal immigration?
