It's clearly an indication that some people are willing to blatantly violate the Constitution as long as their political goals are achieved. That political goal is to keep a candidate off the ballot in order to determine the outcome of the upcoming election and prevent the peaceful transition of power to the would be victor, in other words.. insurrectionists. If you look at the law, Section 3 does not apply to the President and never has. If you look at the history, the authors of Section 3 debated including the President and decided not to. If you look at the judicial precedent, a recent Supreme Court decision validated the fact that Section 3 does not apply to the President. There was never any reason whatsoever for all these insurrectionists to pop up with these wild conspiracy theories in an effort to prevent the outcome of the election. None. Zilch. Nada. Insurrectionists gonna insurrection.

So, Americans are cleared to orchestrate an insurrection without fear of being left off federal ballots. For the faux originalists out there...........do you really think that was the intent of the author's of the amendment?

The legal reasoning behind this was so incredibly weak that it is shocking they would even make this attempt. In today's day and age it is really difficult to get a unanimous decision, but this one was so utterly preposterous that even the leftists on the court had no choice but to shoot it down.

    It ended up being 9-0.

I'm still mystified that when the facts don't align for insurrectionists they continue to come up with ridiculous new ideas for a future insurrection. I do not wish to be a part of any planning or moral validation of future illegal conduct designed to overthrow an election. Some things are probably best left unsaid and not on public forums.

Of course it was. They had many drafts and some drafts included the President. They debated whether or not to include that position in Section 3 and ultimately decided not to.

Because the Constitution makes Congress, rather than the States, responsible for enforcing Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment against federal officeholders and candidates, the Colorado Supreme Court erred in ordering former President Trump excluded from the 2024 Presidential primary ballot.

He's not. Will you be issuing a retraction?

The Election will be decided at the ballot box, not the Courtroom. Voters are not happy about too many Dems trying to cut voters out of the process and as a result they are remembering Trump's presidency ever more fondly.

EVERYTHING IS GOING SWIMMINGLY: TODAY IN NY TIMES BIDEN DOOM-POLLING.

'Today’s third NY Times installment about their most recent poll piles on the bad news for Biden: not only are you losing to Trump head-to-head, and are unpopular, but today we learn that more voters like Trump’s policies and record better than Biden’s.'

Bribed Demented Open Borders Joe enters crosstab hell.

'Americans have much more positive views of Donald J. Trump’s policies than they do of Mr. Biden’s, according to New York Times/Siena College polls.'

'Overall, 40 percent of voters said Mr. Trump’s policies had helped them personally, compared with just 18 percent who say the same about Mr. Biden’s policies. . .'

'Women are 20 percentage points more likely to say that Mr. Trump’s policies have helped them than Mr. Biden’s have.'

Remember: Voters, not judges, will decide this election.
