I don't care. He sounds like a hippie. And I don't like him.

And if you like Ron Paul then we have a problem >_>

Sounds like you know essentially nothing about Paul or his positions. You're having a knee jerk reaction. I encourage you to look in to what he stands for. You might be pleasantly surprised.

Not to mention that hippies actually distrusted government. When did that change?

You keep calling him a hippie, but have nothing concrete so say about his ideology.
I.e., do you agree with running this country based on the Constitution, or only the parts that agree with you personally?
The man is pro life, pro state rights, personal freedom, small Government.

Shows what you know. I know plenty of about Ron Paul. I've been listening to his Mantra about Government and Economic policies since 2007 since before the last Presidential election.

Most of it I agree with, and I still don't like him. Why? Because he's an old hippie. And people need to just ignore him just like they did in 2007 >_>

This Iowa Straw Poll is getting me excited for the possibility of bringing America back, and restoring dignity to the White House.

I don't like Ron Paul because I don't like Ron Paul.

I don't know why people hang so much on him when we could have a better candidate, like Herman Cain for example.

Ok, I suppose I'll take your word for it, although you still have demonstrated zero knowledge of his positions.

Also, it's factually incorrect to call Paul a hippie.

Why should I like Ron Paul over anyone else running for President? I'll ignore the fact that he's an old hippie for one moment.

Oh Golly, we the people want to be free and not under the control of the money powers our founding fathers fought at our birth.

    Well, Oh GOLLY!

You should like him if you value liberty, and a healthy economy.

Ron Paul is not a hippy. saying he is erodes some of your credibility concerning your understanding of his positions.

I like Herman Cain and I'll probably be voting for him. But I sure do hope he learned a lesson with his comments about building Muslim mosques. Some opinions, even correct ones, are better left unexpressed when running for president. I say this because I want him to win. He already has the power to disarm the Democrat race card and on top of that, he has the right ideas. Lower corporate tax rates...alot. And eliminate capital gains taxes. And most importantly, make those changes permanent. If that were to happen, unemployment would drop like a rock and we would be besieged by a mass importation of jobs instead of exportation. Our economy would turn around within months.

    Herman Cain for president!

Eh, I can all him a hippie if I wanna.

Who else running doesn't value liberty and a healthy economy? Cain values freedom and a healthy economy. Most of all, he is not an hippie. He's a real smooth guy. A much better choice than that other guy.

    Herman Cain

WALLACE: But aren't you willing to restrict people because of their religion?

CAIN: I'm willing to take a harder look at people that might be terrorists. That's what I'm saying. Look, I know that that there's a peaceful group of Muslims in this country. God bless them and they are tree to worship. I have no problem with that.

He's pretty sound other then this. Anyone can cause you harm. Just because a particular group is in the media, doesn't mean you single them out. It's been going on in the US since 1776, I'm tired of it.

Yeah I can't believe he didn't get above 9 percent in the straw poll. Well Bachmann won over Paul so I can live with that.

Wow. Herman Cain wants to screen for terrorists using a time tested method, profiling. He wants to keep Americans safe using methods that work and doesn't want people to be killed by political correctness.

    What a crime!

Quit groping grandma in her wheelchair and check out that guy with a fuse sticking out of his turban.

    Unforgiveable!

Oh, because you wouldn't vote for him? I see :)

In order to be an isolationist, you have to be two things: a non-interventionist and a protectionist. Ron Paul is a non-interventionist, but is not, by any means, a protectionist.

He blames the government for what happened on 9/11, but he doesn't think the government literally did it themselves. The US has been attacking the Middle East for many years and in 1998, the government dropped many bombs on those countries -- getting involved in their business. Finally, in 2001, Al-Qaeda rebelled. He simply doesn't subscribe to the naive theory that our government would never do anything wrong and Al-Qaeda just randomly attacked for no particular reason.

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hGyhlNY0y1k"]Ron Paul on 9/11 Truthers - YouTube[/ame]

I'm not sure where you're getting that, but it's simply not true.

Why? All the reasons you listed were false. Surely, there must be some reason that is actually true for you not supporting Ron Paul.
