May I ask these questions? Leaving aside the matter of wether he can win or not... If RP's foreign policy was to continue spending on foreign policy. While keeping his views on domestic policy, would you then vote for him? Further, if your concern is about how he 'looks', or if your reasons are that you get the vibe that he's a hippie...arent you then just wasting the vote youve been given seeing as your too lazy to think about it much?
The REAL reason the Cons and the **********s don;t want Ron Paul is that Paul REALLY MEANS TO CUT DOWN GOVERNMENT! Cons and **********s don't want to reduce the goodies government gives them, and their corporate sponsors don't want to lose all the subsidies and protection they get . They don't want less spent on defense. RP does! They don't want to end cash subsidies to corporations like the Farm Bill and dairy price supports, ethanol and corn payments! RP would end them! They don't want to end the special tax system and credits for connected corporations. RP would reduce taxes, but he would end speial treatment and loopholes! Big oil, farms corps and all the others would probably pay MORE taxes than now because so many pay NONE, or tiny amounts of their actual profits! They don't want to end government protection programs like the FDA and others that let Big Pharma cash in in the USA ripping off the US citizens while selling cheap to all the other smarter countries who won't be suckers. They both just protected massive loopholes at the expense of the country's well-bing. We see theor priorities, and those priorities tell us exactly who pulls their strings! The list goes on forever. Cons and *********s are simply pawns and shills of the corporate and wealthy elites. They simply want THEIR government to service THEM, and end the programs that help most regular citizens. They want to have their cake and deny everyone else even stale bread. Ron Paul would walk his talk, and what a disaster that would be for our wealthy government welfare hogs!
Seeing that foreign policy is not even the hot issue that it was 6 years ago, I don't really think it would make much of a difference. I don't care about the way he looks. The way he sounds just bothers me. I don't see it as wasting my vote because I am certainly not going to vote for the other guy (who is Obama I can assume). If I had a choice between Obama and Paul, I would reluctantly choose Paul (ugh!). The only thing that would make me vote for Paul without even giving it a second though is if he had a really good running mate.
That's some turgid prose you got going on boy. I don't propose going down any road. Imo America is through as we have known it. Something new is coming, and I don't know what it is. There is only one real enemy and those folks live here in America. But none of that changes the fact that Israel's only viable alternative is the Samson Option.
