I have been in the steel industry for a good 40 years. I worked for steel companies that manufactured beams, Sears tower for one, but skyscrapers, bridges and shipyards all over the world. I also spent some years working with cnc 400 amp plasma machinery to manufacture steel products. I programmed the machines and oversaw production of the manufacturing. I understand steel grades, steel properties, specifically melting points. I know what melting steel is all about and what it takes and how steel reacts to heat. How it can bend, twist, elongation properties, and predictability. So I have some expertise. Certainly more than someone who has no background in steel manufacturing. The companies I worked for used electric arc furnaces up to 400 tons and made specialized carbon grade steels to produce their products. It is from this knowledge that I challenge the 911 commission report.
