Well, thank you kindly! Politics is a passion of mine. Actually it's more like my love of country is my passion. Seriously---my family came over here in 1622; I'm a member of the D.A.R. and a 5th generation Texan. I dearly love my country and this state. We must keep up the good fight and not let them change it, or rather ruin it, for our children and grandchildren.

Both. I'm a licensed attorney but have not practiced in about 15 years. Our courier company started by my father was a basic office courier business he started after he left his job of 20 years with a trucking company. After I graduated law school I couldn't find work. I landed with a small firm that handled cases defending doctors and hospitals sued for malpractice. I got laid off after 14 months with the firm. I discovered there was a demand for document collection and courier services between attorneys, doctors, and hospitals and the courthouse. I convinced my former boss to use my Dad's services and he was gracious enough to give him a shot. He did so well that we picked up more and more lawyer clients, insurance company clients, and medical clients to collect, transport, and duplicate documents. I started with my Dad to help him get started with my former employer. As we added more clients, the business grew so fast that I chose to remain full time. My Dad has since passed and I'm now the operator of the business along with my brother and sister.

What was your purpose for asking?

Huh? which is it? Did you grow up poor and are a struggling lawyer, or does you daddy (and you) own the largest private courier business in South Texas??
