I am a liberal, but I am not the run of the mill liberal some might see on a day to day basis. Just don't lump me in with the regressive left, or the authoritarians that say, or claim, that they are liberals.

I prefer personal freedoms and am a firm believer in the Bill of Rights as individual rights. I don't see them as collective rights as some of my fellow liberals have claimed they are. To me that is a step towards authoritarianism.

I believe in liberty and freedom for all and the right for all to have life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

I am pro Bill of Rights (all of them).

I am pro choice and for women's health and the health of all of Americans.

I am for the right for anyone to marry who they choose to marry whether they are straight, gay, bi, or whatever. If they're happy why should anyone else care.

I am against the war on drugs and think it's a huge waste of resources.

I have consistently voted against those, on both sides, that voted for the use of military force against Iraq. Regardless of whether they regret their vote or not. I will continue to do so until they are all finally gone.

I am against the neocon and liberal idea that we must "fix" sovereign nations.
