Hey from what Ive heard it actually is pretty rare to acquire a new language after 10yo or so, and almost impossible if we consider all the phonetic rules to assimilate and reproduce. Ive only learned English at school in France and sometimes abroad as a teen so my oral/verbal English skills suck. But Im glad to hear you are bilingual, its a gift.

LOL it obviously is a touchy subject indeed! Dont worry though I also know little about it Im just interested, but props for your very good English Im always jealous to hear how well the Germans do in English!:)
