Then you should think to recover the old ways. Use an organization no political to start revolution.

You would surprise yourself, it could work. I can't tell you how will go the organization where I am in Spain because is new, but more people is joining. So the job of concienciation is going on. There are from capitalist people with some sense(but in some sense I consider them dangerous for a revolution) to anarchists. People must go together for a revolution, and with the revolution done by the people, and only the people. And at least everybody in this group they have it clear, that we must do the revolution and only we.

Unfortunately, the Irish unions sold out in the 70's and 80's.

By the way, the current protests in the ME demonstrate the power of syndicalism (when extended past just strikes into other forms of civil disobedience). It is also important to note that Mubarak only resigned after the unions called for strikes.

I am somewhat similar. I am a syndicalist with a great belief in cooperatives and yet I see a strong role for the state in terms of healthcare and education. The weight I give to both varies considerably depending on the time of day.
