You don't quite understand the reason he is in Office and why he runs if you bring down to such a level as if he has done nothing.

Ron Paul, last in every respected poll. Some of people don't understand. They support a man that has talked since 1976 and DONE nothing.

    Fail, Failure
    fail (fl)
    v. failed, failĀ·ing, fails

    v.intr.
    1. To prove deficient or lacking; perform ineffectively or inadequately: failed to fulfill their promises; failed in their attempt to reach the summit.
    2. To be unsuccessful: an experiment that failed.
    3. To receive an academic grade below the acceptable minimum.
    4. To prove insufficient in quantity or duration
    5. To decline, as in strength or effectiveness
    6. To cease functioning properly
    7. To give way or be made otherwise useless as a result of excessive strain:

    v.tr.
    1. To disappoint or prove undependable to
    2. To abandon
    3. To omit to perform (an expected duty, for example)
    4. To leave undone; neglect

The life of Ron Paul in 17 lines.

    One could add:
Talks and talks and talks and talks, and talks some more, but nothing comes of all his talk except,,,,,,,MORE TALK.

obama talks even better, look how well we've fared under his incessant, talk but do nothing.

Someone want to clue this guy in that "every respected poll" also means this one. He has me on ignore, so someone might want to point it out that when it comes to head to head matches against Obama, Paul is 2nd. And when this is all said and done, we need someone to beat Obama, not just lie in the debates which turns into a complete landslide for Obama.

Paul vs Obama = Obama by 5.4%

Romney vs Obama = Obama by 2.4%

Newt vs Obama = Obama by 12.8%

Santorum vs Obama = Obama by 10%

So instead of supporting Paul, he decides to bash him at every turn, when in actuality, the poll that matters the MOST, has Paul close to Obama, and the BIG government chicken hawks at the double digits.

So what your point? Paul is not going to spend like crazy, he will save lives, adhere to the constitution, give us people some our god given right back from the government. That far outweighs whatever crap your trying sell.

Whether Ron Paul wins this election or not, he will have achieved far more in the long-term, and be remembered long after Romney fades away into oblivion the same way John McCain and Bob Dole and Tom Dewey did.

Ron Paul should stay in and ruin the election for the war-mongering neo-cons like MnBillyBoy.

    Three questions for you Dan...

    1. What are your thoughts about Abraham Lincoln? Was he a leader in your eyes?

    2. What do you consider a leader to be?

    3. Have you finally decided on who you are voting for? I have yet to hear who you support...

Um...this whole thread was an attempt by the ant-Paul crowd to say the campaign trail is too tiring for an old man. Not the best place to make an argument how he is having such a good time. In other words.....

How do you equate Paul losing the election to ruining the election for anyone except Paul's lemmings?

Because if Ron Paul runs 3rd Party, the ne0-con running as the GOP nominee will undoubtedly lose the election- in a landslide. Ron Paul would probably get more votes than the Republican, and that's hardly an exaggeration.

I'm glad that we agree that Paul may be a spoiler for the mainstream Republicans.

then he will have broken the two party stronghold and made possible the election of a third party in the next election cycle.

Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate that could beat PrezBO in the general election.

If Romney were so electable he'd be President already and Gingrich has so many skeletons (not to mention his penchant for progressivism) he would have independents running for cover. Even if either of them won the general election nothing would change. Government spending would continue to increase as will the government debt, the value of the USD would continue to decrease, citizens would become more dependent on the state and lose more liberties (if there are any left).

    LOL, sorry.

Really? I suppose the same could be said of Paul, since he's been running since '88.

    LOL

Paul disappointed the naive youth by dropping out in 1988.

Paul disappointed the naive youth by dropping out in 2008.

Paul will disappoint the naive youth by dropping out in 2012.

Claiming some "magic strength" as a 3rd party candidate is way beyond naive nonsense. He cannot win a primary. As a 3rd party candidate he would ABSOLUTELY finish a very weak third. But it would be enough for the pariah obama to be reelected.

If Paulobots have even a shred of sincerity about helping this nation, HOW could they allow that to happen.

    Paul's career IS OVER.

He's 76 now, let the man rest.
