when even the notoriously RW leaning Rasmussen shows Obama up, things arent looking good for the gop http://www.rasmussenreports.com/pub...a_administration/obama_approval_index_history
Oh, suddenly now that the polls are back in Obama's favor they don't mean anything? cons don't have a nominee because they can't field anything worth a flying fattooba.
the more the choices we are faced with (obama newt or mitt) becomes clear....the better obama looks. thats how it will look for the rest of the year
The linked poll has him down to 49 again, same as the disapproval. The number of those who strongly disapprove is higher than those who strongly approve... by 12 points.
No, any poll putting Obama against anyone are irrelevant at this point no matter who they say is winning. Until Obama and the republican nominee start swinging its just guesswork as so much can change between now and then. That's just a fact.
with the media feeding frenzy bashing all things American this would be expected. When Obama must respond about his record is when his numbers will tank Axelrod will not be able to spin away from the truth of Obama's record. People can only be fooled for so long
Well, if you want to equate a sudden increase and then an almost as sudden decrease in a poll number, as 'better and better everyday', then knock yourself out!
Sure, just like the economy Obama's favorabilities keep getting better but with the expected lurches all around as they increase for the good of America, no problem.
This is true. There is a lot of hot air on this forum. If Europe implodes and unemployment in America shoots up over 9% Obama is going to have a tough time getting reelected. All the predictions on this forum by truck drivers and high school drop outs are meaningless.
I find it amusing in that when polls have a Republican candidate rising in support, the Cons believe their Messiah has arrived but when Obama is rising in the polls (which means that Republicans are falling in the polls) - it's a liberal conspiracy.
I never thought I would see the day when Democrats were happy at the aspect that someone, who policy wise is close to Bush, would get elected. Ohh well, guess when you follow what a politician says as opposed to what they do it doesn't matter who you support.
Bush tax cuts = same Fed Chairman and sec of defense = same Gitmo = same Iraq, Afghanistan = same Tarp = Same Deficit spending = same Lobbyists in administration = same Expanding govt health-care = same war on terrorism = same Immigration and border security = same Support big business = same I think the only place they actually really differed was govt funds for embryonic stem cell research, the incompetent judges they would push to the supreme court and their rhetoric, but their actions are way to close aside from that. Just because you don't want to see it doesn't make it any less true. Go ahead and support W term 4 in 2012
Lol...That's the only thing keeping his numbers down. Once we go from 'generic repub' to one of the actual bozos competing for the nomination, the polls will go up even further for Obama.
