Obama is not being removed from any ballots, and is eligible, just like he was eligible when he was sworn in by Chief Justice Roberts last time.

 

Interesting; the republican citizens of Georgia, are so desperate to keep Obama from winning a second term, they try to do anything to keep him from winning a second term in office. Its pathetic.

Btw Obama hasn't been removed from the ballot. Its a challenge and the administrative judge hasn't rendered a decision as of yet, so the OP jumped the gun in his haste to claim victory.

He has produced it, and the State of Hawaii - the issuing authority - certified that it was real. Therefore, it is.

 

Nothing wrong with the Constitution . . .what is wrong is the obsessive focus the birther have in trying to spin the Constitution just because they can't take it that a Black man, born in Hawaii of a White American mother, and a Black Kenyan father was elected by a clear majority to be our President.

They are frantic to try to find ANYTHING to prevent him from being elected to a second term. . .and their pool of phony primary candidates is laughable. Even Limbaugh has to admit it!

Can you show me the exact place, the exact words in the Constitution (or in any amendment to the constitution that define a "natural born citizen" as anything else that a person born within the borders of this country or its territory OR someone born of an US Citizen parent?

The 14th amendment clearly states: "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside."

Obama was born in Hawaii and is thereby declared a citizen....so what exactly is the problem again??

 

There is no problem and this issue is dead. I hate Obama as much as the next guy but surely there are legitimate issues to bring up without rolling around in this crap.

Basically the Supreme Court has refused to hear any cases about Obama's citizenship which effectively kills this or any type of lawsuit regarding Obama and naturalization.

 

The ONLY TIME the Supreme Court of the United States has EVER referenced "Natural Born" this is what they said...

"...The Constitution does not, in words, say who shall be natural-born citizens. Resort must be had elsewhere to ascertain that. At common-law, with the nomenclature of which the framers of the Constitution were familiar, it was never doubted that all children born in a country of parents who were its citizens became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also. These were natives, or natural-born citizens, as distinguished from aliens or foreigners..."

Please note they say "parents"...

 

It says they are Citizens, of that there is no doubt. But that doesn't mean they are "natural Born Citizens". The "common Law" meaning, at the time of the writing of the Constitution, was that they had to be born of "parents" who were Citizens. All else had to be Naturalized in order to become Citizens. The 14th Amendment just made it so that they no longer had to be Naturalized, but it did NOT change the meaning of Natural Born, in any way shape or form.

 

Sounds like a distinction without a difference to me.

Birthers are all complete morons..... The state of Hawaii has said countless times that his birth certificate is on file with the state. The only reason his orignal birth certificate has never been shown is the same reason NO ONE FROM HAWAII CAN SHOW THEIRS......Because Hawaiian state law says that the original can not be sent out. The reason Obama was allowed to run in 2008, was because the FEC took the Hawaiian government's assurance that Obama does in face have a birth certificate on file.

I agree he was likely Born in the U.S.

But I also know his Father was never a Citizen. He was born a Citizen, but is not a Natural Born Citizen. To be Natural Born BOTH Parents have to be Citizens.
