On a serious note, if one were, say, 10 posts deep on a particular forum, and, said individual's first series of posts were, in essence, a solicitation, it may be difficult for other posters to take it seriously, seeing that they don't know anything about you...

Also, there's the fact that there's no legitimate reason to impeach Obama, so, it's a lost cause, right off the bat...

I'm NOT being a bigot here, or beating anyone up. This is a sincere thought. Because of what our Nation was founded on, Biblical and Christian Principles, I think that is the reason why many people have such a hang up on Obama's stance, and question him. We're trying to get America back to its roots and Constitutional Republic. How is it that he has had more respect and favor toward Islam and the Koran than Christianity and the Bible, where Christianity and the Bible(principles), is what this Nation was founded on? That's where I have the problem and the fact that the war on terror is Islamic fanaticism.

 

As I said before- swap out Muslim for Jew and consider the statement "Obama is a secret Jew". The use of innuendo is a tactic that I find particularly offensive. Even though Newt has changed his denomination twice and has not had a track record of obeying Biblical principles, I do not hear people whispering that he is secretly not a Catholic. Why?

Because whispering that someone is a secret Muslim has an impact- just like in 1950 whispering that someone was a secret Jew did.

I disagree with you on the first part- it is clear to me that this is again more of the bigotted propaganda campaign against Obama. He has indeed reached out to the Muslim world- which I agree with. But I do not see that he has shown more respect or favor towards Islam than Christianity. Pure propaganda intended to appeal to bigots.

The current war on terror is indeed a war on Islamic Fanaticism- not on Islam.

There is a difference. Just as Westboro Church is not a representative of all of Christianity, neither is Al Qaeda a representative of all of Islam.

I agree with you. I find it amazing that someone would decide to hate roughly 40% of all Americans, simply because they have different political beliefs.

I have many, many conservative friends- I hate no American just because of how they think. Matter of fact- I would be hard pressed to think of anyone I actually hate.

Barack Obama and George Bush should have both been impeached and removed from office. Between the wars and unconstitutional legislation they signed, like the Patriot Act and the NDAA.
