About the Tapatalk app

I can't seem to find this forum in the app. How exactly should I search for it? I have searched "political forum", "politicalforum", and "politicalforum.com".

 

We don't have that app. We might shortly once we get all the upgrades out of the way.

 

I'd love to have Tapatalk integration.

 

Tapatalk is old news. Completely outdated. They're starting to fix it though. VB is migrating towards Forum Runner as their official mobile applcation and VB 4.1.12 will have full integration for it, although this 4.1.11 will work find as well. Is forumrunner free?

Tapatalk just released a completely new version today.

 

Forum Runner is free. I just put it on my board yesterday. It's very similar to Tapatalk. They do have different features though....I'm not sure which is better yet. The big thing I did notice (in the apple store anyways) was that the Tapatalk app is like $2.50 (im not sure if there was a free version) which Forum Runner had a Paid no-ad version ($1.50) and a free ad-supported version - I assume it's across the board like that for the android store.

The big things about Tapatalk's new app, which I also upgraded on my board yesterday is their GEO TAGGING system. Like facebook's system. "Johnny" can post his side on a debate...and above his sig it'll say "3rd Ave, Brooklyn" <--- example. I find that to be very unsafe for an environment such as a political board. Most of us know when to quit a debate...some are crazy enough to take it to the real world and we've all heard stories about it. When you upgrade your Iphone/etc tapatalk app this is on by default. You have to turn it off if you don't want it. Some of us will be able to find this, others less tech saavy will find their locations visible to the community. I'm not a fan of it - it should be off by default.

 

I'm using Tapatalk right know and it is good. The only thing im not sure about just yet is what happened to a very long post I just submitted.. It doest appear here.. Maybe from the web browser I could see it? I'll be checking. Thanks for the integration .
