Of course people with little education/not used to tests can test worse on IQ tests then those that are educated - DUH.

Truly informed people understand that traditional IQ tests are often lousy ways to determine intelligence in people not used to learning/testing.


Another example is intimidation affecting IQ tests.

My brother was intimidated by tests - so when he took an IQ test when he was young, he tested badly.

He now has a degree in physics from Cal Berkeley, runs his own software company and tests very high on IQ tests because now he is no longer intimidated by tests - his true intelligence can show though.

Anyone who is actually intelligent would realise IQ tests are inaccurate and outdated. They have a strong bias towards people who have practised western style math problems and don't give any indication of actual human intelligence.

BTW, I'm not a Conservative. Maybe, I'm not even a Republican. I don't believe in the Anthropormorphic God of the Organized Religions. My God, if it exists is Einstein's, or Spinoza's God (discovered that myself at age ~12 without knowing either Einstein or Spinoza): The Sum Total of the Laws of the Universe. Praying to the God of the Organized Religions yields the same statistical results as praying to the nearest rock in one's garden. Praying to my God is like praying to a lightening so it won't strike you.....kinda ridiculous. When we die we will be fertilizer, not unlike the lowly cockroach snuffling around hither & yon.

I believe in Embryonic Stem Cell Research (ESCR), I would enlarge the safety net for legitimately unemployed workers at the expense of diminishing, or, hopefully, even eliminating the handouts to the parasites of our society. Same for Medical Benefits, Help to the retired employed workers when necessary, etc.
