Answer: Yes. It's unfortunate that the neutral term 'capitalist' has been appropriated by our degenerate (and continually devolving) right.

Thge capitalist is a right winger. Have you ever heard of a leftist/socialist/marxist/commie/progressive as being a capitalist? So while the right wingers are full capitalist entreprenurism--leftists are indeed full of sh!t Imagine calling a leftist a venture capitalist. LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The right is not Capitalist, not at all. If it was it would support all capitalist endeavours, which it does not.
It is fascist state supported oligarchy masquerading these days as liberty loving revolutionaries protecting individuals from overbearing government, gaining support through appeals to base emotions while providing nothing but platitudes to the deluded masses of people disaffected by the abuse they have suffered under the rights long stewardship, occasionally interrupted by centrist incursions when they go too far, which only gives them ammunition to blame it all on the left, which easily angers the gullible easily manipulated public to put them in power again.

Of course it is. Just like it's possible to be a socialist/communist/social democrat (not the U.S. Democratic Party) and think the left is full of (*)(*)(*)(*).

The problem is people don't understand the political spectrum. The left-right axis is purely economic. The right is capitalism, with the far right being corporatism. The left is socialism, with communism at the far left. Social democracy would be the center.

Government is the vertical axis, on a libertarian-authoritarian scale, with anarchy being the far-libertarian and fascism being the far-authoritarian. You can be a libertarian socialist/anarcho-socialist/anarcho-communist just like you can be an authoritarian capitalist.

I concur. Capitalism is antagonistic to devolution. To guarantee its success, governments must intervene to eliminate contrarian constructs, while forming germane ones.

The vertical axis represents social issues. The horizontal axis signifies economic issues. This is a variant of the Nolan Chart.

There are/were plenty of Hugely successful liberal/left venture capitalists/billionaires, Gates, Jobs, Soros, Buffet... etc.. in fact the most successful ones are liberals... and that doesnt amount to squat as far as capitalism is concerned as practiced in the U.S.. preached by the far right.

The elite far right practice capitalism with the same amount of scruples and morals.. fair play as your local crack dealer and they want further deregulation and rules so that they can further control the whole playing field... same can be said for democrats...

This system of corporate welfare/ big money legal immunity/cronie capitalism wasnt created by republicans alone.

Right. Social issues are inherently government in nature.
