We've all heard plenty about how Romney claims he'll cut the deficit and spending. What I'd like to know is: How, exactly, does he plan to pay off the debt?
The only realistic way to pay off this debt is to grow the economy. You can't do that while standing on two of the three economic break pedals the government has available.
I don't know, but I guarantee you he won't be spending 4 years with his thumb in his ass drinking beer with celebrities and blaming his predecessor for all his problems like Der Fuhrer is right now.
I'll say I care nothing on that, the bigger problem is unemployment... If Romney wins I'll hire... if Obama wins I won't.... That is what matters...
What strategy? He didn't pay off the debt, he just cut spending and cut the deficit. Nobody has an answer, apparently.
by cutting the spending I-E cut E, and alloe more biz activity with less (*)(*)(*)(*)ty unions and regs, get bigget I and hek just stop letting bernank run wild get less debt why is this so hard for democrats to understand remember governmetn produces nothing it takes from industry and people and roads it makes are made 20x as inefficiently as industry and no they dont enable or cause industry success no the road are buitl with money taxed from industry
I don't think the debt is exactly like a credit card, where you send in so much, some of it to pay down the principal, and others to pay down the interest. The national debt is composed of treasury bills; government bonds. Simply put, we need to balance the budget, so that we need to borrow less. If we have a solid economy and budget surplus, then the national debt isn't as great an issue. But you cannot have a trillion dollar yearly budget deficit, 8.1% unemployment, 23,000,000 unemployed Americans, AND $16,000,000,000,000 national debt. Take care of the budget and unemployment, and the rest will largely fix itself.
How is that a lie. It was 47th for 3 years before actually dropping...and it wasn't necessarily because of his policies...but the economy in general improving nationwide...
Andrew Jackson was the only President in our history to have no national debt...because he paid it off.
Truth isn't admitted to by certain folks dude. Some are paid to promote propaganda. 47th out of 50 is not to be discussed either, nor are tax returns, Bain outsourcing Inc., or the Cayman Islands.
So, no specific answers yet? Someone said cutting the budget, but has Romney actually specified one thing he would cut?
Well, I hoped "part 2" of the post would be explaining that Romney plans to cut until there are budget surpluses, and then use the surplus for that purpose, but apparently that was too much to ask, since not a single person has come up with "part 1".
