Muslims will stop nothing short of Sharia Law ... they are just using the anti Islam movie as a means/excuse to justify their actions and wage Jihad on the West

You have surely heard of the crime "conspiracy to commit murder". This means that being the mastermind behind an actual act of murder is akin to committing the murder. This producer did not plot with the killers, unlike Bin Laden.

One can only be guilty of the crime of murder when one can foresee the consequences. One cannot be responsible for people going crazy unless you were for example standing on a podium and calling them to violence, which is not the case here.

Agreed. Offensiveness cannot be a factor in deciding whether free speech is permitted. One can burn any flag without the reasonable expectation that a mob will go on the rampage.

Not at all - to incite a riot you would have to be standing in front of a crowd calling people to incite a riot - not making a movie, writing a book or posting on a forum. Absolutely no proximity of cause and effect there.

So... when I put something on the internet... I must take the pulse of every Islamic country to be sure they will not react insanely... this is my responsibility...

We live in free countries, you and I. We get to be insulting. It is legal to be insulting. To react to words, with murder, is pathological. I will not be tethered by others intolerance. We WILL force ALL people to not respond to words, with murder. Correct.

Those who murder you for speaking words. You are strongly recommending it, to avoid inciting your Muslim brothers to murder. You do not hold your own responsible, you hold the messenger responsible. Its ludicrous.

Everyone is offended by something. Grow up.

And the circumstances demonstrate that EVERY SINGLE TIME "Islam" gets its feelings hurt +99% of Muslims do nothing to prevent the 1% from murdering humans.

Because I will react to OPPRESSION with struggle. My words do not oppress you... your position on MY language is oppressive. Surely you understand this.

He has legitimate reason to go into hiding. This is what happened to Dutch cartoonist Theo Van Gogh:

    Simply for drawing this:

You can attempt to provoke me with any combination of words in the English lexicon. You will not be murdered. An act of violence will not be perpetrated against you. Can the same be said for your brotherhood? Clearly not.

Edmund Burke said "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing". In this way, 1.6 billion people are instruments for evil... sitting idly by and saying "awww... that is too bad". Do not insult me because you do not like what you hear. I am not insulting you personally. My points are quite lucid, and no... I was not drinking. I am disappointed you followed sidartha in this regard. I have remained civil.

Impotent to address the reality of the circumstance. Another person in the crowd WATCHING murder committed. Praise to those who do intervene... Most sit by and watch... and that is a real shame.

You do not understand my claims. Revisit them.

I am not defensive and emotional. I find your position on the posibility of people who practice your peaceful religion to not murder people over words depressing.

I'll pee on the first half and wipe my arse with the rest.

That's about what it's good for.

You think you will be murdered for it? I find it perverse, but I would defend your right to do it from any deluded American who might try and cause you harm. Do you understand that? I would actively defend you?

He knew the risks, time to man up. I would if I was in his shoes. Letting these people scare you into hiding is letting them win.

Stalin didn't kill anyone in the name of Atheism, he was only against religion because he thought religions were competing with his government for the hearts and minds of his citizens. No one has ever been killed in the name of Atheism to my knowledge,

I'm not saying anybody should be murdered.

My "brotherhood" consists of nearly 2 billion people. The fact that the vast majority of them are not going on mass killing sprees clearly shows otherwise.

You remained civil? You slowly built up your anger after I answered your question...

What of the protests in Libya in solidarity with the 4 people killed, and the arrest of 4 people linked to their murder?

What of Imams in Egypt preaching for peaceful protest and against the use of violence?

Just because your Tv doesn't say something happens, doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

And what reality is that exactly? And actually, I, and I'm sure many others found out about the murder after it was comitted...

The real shame is this apparent guilt by association on my back, while you excuse the person who's movie instigated the protests. I don't get that? How I am shameful, yet he is expressing his rights by inciting people to commit violence.

    Elaborate them for me.

You have certainly come off as such...

What exactly do you think my position is?

I don't know how anyone can blame the film maker in this. Yes he's kind of a d*ck, but do we really want to live in a growing world where any insult to Islam could mean death. People do need to wake up and realize that this religion breeds fanatasism. Would you feel the same way about Bill Maher and Religiousity? Did that spark a worldwide riot and the deaths of many? Of course it didn't.

I didn't say he killed in the name of atheism. I said he was an atheist who killed 20 million people. But I would argue that it was his atheism that allowed him to kill so many people. Atheism being evil and all.

There have been countless "insults" to the prophet since 9/11, by people all over the world. And we're to believe this is the cause for the violence now?

So by that same logic, Christianity allowed for the thousands of deaths during the Crusades, and the Spanish Inquisition, and other holy wars? Christianity being evil and all.

I flat out do not believe anything that is said in regard to why those people are protesting other than the fact of the people of that area becoming increasingly tired of American meddling into their affairs and placing brutal puppets over them. This "Muhammad" movie is nothing more than a smokescreen to cover up the fact of the deeds of America's distant and recent past and how they coming back at rapid breakneck speed.

No, but you miss the point here. This Basile character made this film for this exact reason. To make people angry and cause riots.

There are hundreds, if not thousands of videos on YouTube insulting Islam, Muslims, etc. But nothing happens. They are uploaded daily. Most Muslims don't care. To simply put it.

Why is this one so special? Who knows?

You're making no sense, you criticized them for forcing you into submission, yet openly advocate the same thing.

You forget what happened with that "Ground zero Mosque" nonsense? Nobody died, but there was little freedom there to build an Islamic Centre 2 blocks away (was it 2?)....

    Thats nonsense.

I have repeated numerous times the ones responsible are the ones who killed the 4 Americans. I have stated this multiple times in multiple threads.

    Yes, and your point is?

You shouldn't expect everybody to react to insults the same way, your way. That's absurd.

How many people get killed daily in America by the colour of their clothes or the people they affiliate with, or because of something they do or say?

You think it's easy, hey? Lol... You think that its easy to prevent irrational people from acting irrationally? Thats unreasonable. Not an excuse, as I agree, we must speak louder, however you should attend an angry riot sometime.

Enough with this "your" stuff, okay? You are putting words in my mouth and nothing more.

If people have the right to insult others, the others have the right to be insulted.

Whether we like the outcome or not. We can only attempt to influence their reaction, but you cannot force them to react a certain way without makng it worse.

    Do you not see that?

You still do not understand my point. They do not prevent it, and there is an underlying expectation of violence and murder if a Mushrikeen, infidel or koffer insults the prophet. The NUMBER of people who try to murder people ANY TIME the prophet is insulted is not really of issue... it is the "Oh well... what do you expect" position which the muslim world seems comfortable with, allowing the easily disavowed "extremists" to do what you know they will end up doing.

Your perception of my emotional state notwithstanding, I became more blunt as you did not, and still do not, seem to understand the very simple point I am making.
You- "Most Muslims do not kill people for exercising free speech"
Me- "Most Muslims do not prevent it either. It is expected whether or not they are the one perpetrating."

We will see how that goes.

    What is the percentage?

Don't talk down to me. I am not sitting on my couch eating mayonaise sandwiches watching Fox news. Try and take the high road. I have, again, been civil to you. I have not personally insulted or talked down to you. I speak to you as a rational intelligent human being. You would better serve your position by doing the same.

Again, it is unreasonable to presume that stating a position on a religion should incite violence. That it CAN and DOES is the POINT of the expression.

I have... in each post. Elaboration seems to be the enemy of the goal, which is why I become more and more blunt, yet civil.

I guess that is an easier perception than someone with a valid and opposing view.

"Oh well... what do you expect"
