I was considering relocating to the Czech Republic to teach English and I posted about it here and someone said you run a language program there, I'm a U.S. citizen so I wouldn't have the same privileges as a EU citizen, I was thinking of the Caledonian School or Akcent International Akcent offers CELTA which is Cambridge certified and I hear internationally respected but Caledonian School apparently guarantees a job after course completion and a work permit and extended Visa, but it's not CELTA and it's more expensive and apparently they don't pay very well and have high turnover, I have a bunch of questions for example will being a felon prevent me from getting a work permit if it's a non-violent/non-drug related offense IE Driving Under the Influence? If you can't get a work permit from in country what is the procedure, do you have to leave, file, and then come back? I would love to get some feedback off of you if you have time I'm in no hurry as I'm planning appx. 15 months into the future. I do have college experience, I have an Associates of Arts degree and all but 1 full semester worth of credits towards my Bachelors in political science/international relations but had poor performance my Senior year and had to leave.

Everything's OK - I'm just taking a rest from all the anger and insults which has gotten to be very depressing. Plus I've had some family things going on this summer which have taken most of my attention. Thanks for asking! :)

OK. So I have not started the folder on definitions of racism yet. I will still try to do that this weekend. I started first with "race"...because racial classification is directly tied to racism. In fact...that is part of the origins. So for the future discussions, I thought it was good to start there...before setting up the different definitions of racism. So you can start there if you want. I will still get to the definitions of racism.
