Good thread and thank you Op. I am beyond this discussion and decided to ignore the whole "look at me I am a victim of discrimination".

Best advice I can give is to stop looking at the negatives of society and move forward with positives which in reality creates change. We all have to do this regardless of sexual orientation or color in day to day life.

Sorry if I derailed your thread.

middle schoolers aren't generally sexually active either....(i know, some are, but the same argument can be made about campers, too) yet it doesn't mean they don't fantasize about it.

if it's 'wrong' for a boy to be in a girl's locker room during PE, then for the same reason, it's wrong for a gay boy to be in the locker room with other boys.

classic case of "can't have your cake and eat it too"

I absolutely agree with you about the example of a shower. I know that in HS I would have loved to go to the girls shower although most of them never took showers.

If gay boys are allowed to see naked boys then straight boys should be allowed to see naked girls and vice versa. it is only fair and just and the exact same thing.

Are you out of the social loop? I know fifth graders that are having sex. These days sexuality and confusion about it comes earlier than it used to. Its sad, and I want to hit those kids upside the head and ask them what they think they are doing but its whats happening.

I've been in the boys' locker room all my life, no problems at all. We're all there to change clothes and get out. All my teammates know that I'm gay- nobody cares. The only one who seems bothered by anything is you. That's your problem, not ours.

BTW- sometimes we have ladies play too. If that's the case, they change in the locker room with us too.

that's fine, then you should also have no issues girls and boys sharing a common lockerroom, then huh?

I'm not calling you out on your opinion, I'm calling you out on your hypocracy. If you don't think gays take mental snapshots of guys they find attractive to beat off to later and therefore, should be allowed to cohabitate a lockerroom with the gender they find attractive, that's fine.... I disagree, but it's your opinion.

but to sit here and call for boys/girls to have seperate lockerrooms, but then to turn around and claim gays can intermix is hypocritical convenient to your agenda. If you do agree that boys/girls should share lockerrooms and you don't think guys will take mental snapshots of the girl classmates to beat off to later, that's fine, and my concerns over hypocracy are baseless, and I'll shutup.... (again, I'll disagree that boys don't do that, but it's your opinion)

So, let me ask you, straight forward.....

1, do you think boys and girls should have seperate lockerrooms? Why or why not?

    2. do you think gay boys should have seperate lockerrooms? Why or why not?

all I can do is be consistent in my beliefs.....

You're the pervert, not me. No, I have no issues with both sexes sharing locker rooms- that should be obvious from my previous post. And no- I do not take mental snapshots of my teammates to "beat off to" later.

ok, I'll disagree with you 100%, but at least you answered my concerns about hypocracy.

you still seem to think ones orientation has anything to do with the actual act of having sex.

it's which gender you're ATTRACTED to that determines orientation.

Amen! I've been in the locker rooms, the showers and the barracks for the last 40 years of my life... no, not a problem whatsoever.

One thing I've figured out... human beings aren't like lower animals.

Sometime it's difficult to remember that fact when reading some of the comments made!

But you are absolutely correct. . .as usual!

I think there is a little difference there!

Young boys would like to sneak in girls showers because they are CURIOUS about what girls look like, much less than because of "sexual attraction!"

And, obviously, young boys who are gay are not built any differently than heterosexual boys. . .so that natural curiosity doesn't have the same urgency.

Obviously sexual contacts of any kind should be avoided, but I really don't think that it is commonly happening in locker rooms. . .unless of course "adults" like Sandusky get involved!

Well come on, we're all there to play a game, not have sex. We all have to get in and out of gear, so let's be real, facilities are limited. We just deal with it.

I don't think it's happening either, much.... but we also don't have girls/boys sharing lockerroom space. Kids are impulsive and *gasp* sometimes sneaky. I had a girl's side/ boy's side on track meet bus trips because when the lights were dark on the way home.... kids explore.

When in band in highschool, on overnight trips, I had to choose 3 other boys to room with. Gender seperated. Guys weren't allowed in girls rooms or vice-versa. Why not.... because highschool kids fornicate. I damn sure would have loved to have been able to room with a bunch of girls, especially if one was my crush at the time.

I love how everyone on here is being dishonest about gays not having the same teenage mentality of having sex or masturbating at the thought of someone they crushed on..... i know I would have LOVED to have seen my crush changing in the locker room.

Hell, why do you think there are so many porno's set in a lockerroom?

Well, you seem to have answer your own question . . .for people like you who might enjoy porn and have unresolved issues from their teenage years? I guess!

I know I'm not into it!
