Another example of the beauty of gun ownership. Two perps break into this woman's house....she had stayed home sick from work and was alone. She hides in a closet with her handgun.....when they open the closet door she blasts away.....sending the perps into the street crying for help:

Without the gun, she would have probably been brutally raped and killed.......good to see a story with a happy ending sometimes. And to think that there are people out there who want to take guns out of the hands of law abiding citizens.......sad

 

Wasn't she supposed to get raped and take great bodily harm before attempting to lethally defending herself? Isn't that how it works?

Good for her, this is what the second ammedment is all about. Protecting ourselves for those that would break the law. It applies for criminals as well and goverments that break the law.

 

Yep, I think her resistance force was "not reasonable"......these youts, younger than Trayvon the Child (TM) had not even layed a hand on her.....had not broken her nose....had not beat her head into the sidewalk.....she had no justifacation for shooting these cherubic children....they were good kids....honor students....soon to be astronauts. They were just in the house to make a phone call and ask for a glass of water....and maybe do some yardwork for the lady in return. Until they raped and beat her she had no justification for pulling that hand gun out and shooting....hope they charge her with aggravated assault. This is in North Carolina....maybe we can bring back Angela's cousin, Mike Nifong, to prosecute the case....

 

A working woman stayed home b/c she was sick ... and 2 intruders broke in. Maybe they knew she was a working gal, no one home and tho't they'd be safe? Well, she surprised them......

Good for her. Just like that mom w/2 daughters in GA a few months back. Broad daylight and this maniac busted down her door. She & girls hid in a crawlspace and he opened it to be staring at her gun. He ended up crying and bleeding all over a neighbor's driveway, begging for help.

Why is it when the criminals end up on the wrong end of a weapon, they're screaming for help, so scared they're going to die?

Speaking as a liberal, pro-Obama voter, I have at least one gun at hand in every room in the house - loaded and ready. I don't like gun violence or nutballs going postal any more than anyone else. But whether I like it or not, these things happen and can be prevented.

 

This idiocy is no more accurate than to say conservatives are stuck in the oppressor mentality, and want government to just let them shoot anyone they please.

 

I don't know any liberal who would oppose the use of a gun for self protection within the home.

I hate guns, but I believe there is a use for them when it comes to protecting yourself inside your own home. This woman protected herself. What's the problem?

Feinstein wanted all guns banned but didnt have the votes. Bloomberg thinks only police should be armed. Two off the top of my head.

Which I think needs tweaking because there is no reason to walk down the street with a gun, but there is a reason to keep one in your home to protect yourself and your kids from harm.

And there are virtually no mass shootings that occur in the home.

 

There's nothing wrong w/a law abiding citizen walking down the street w/a concealed weapon............

These people want all guns banned, and if they had their way, they WOULD be banned. Progressiveism is very dangerous if we don't put a limit to it, because as it stands, there's not limit to what can or cannot be to the progressives. That's the whole point of having opposition, if no one stands between them and their limitless idealism, they could get away with some otherwise aweful, aweful things.
