Pro "choice" position: The would be killer's rights should take precedence over the unborn child's.

Pro- "life" position : The unborn child's rights should take precedence over the would be killer's.

Even the "pro-choice" people don't really beleive that what is being killed is not a human being. They know it is, they just want the woman to be able to kill at will.

Pro- "life" position : The state should control the woman's reproductive system, based on a minorities moral viewpoint.
Pro- "choice" position : The individual woman should control her own reproductive system

It must be a great gift to be able to tell what all the pro-choice people are thinking, either that or complete arrogance .. I know which one I believe it is.

NOPE, I had it correct the first time. Abortion is the homicide of a child in utero!

Ah what a utopian society we would live in if we took that approach with all homicides.

It actually is not. Abortion is a homicide, a premeditated one at that. Every would be killer has his/her "reasons" they need to kill, but that doesn't make them legitimate! Those of you who would tell women it isn't a homicide to make her feel better about wantonly killing her child are the IDIOTS!

BTW, who knew there was a pro abortion party and an anti abortion party? News to me.

If you like but on the same basis so is execution or turning off life-support. So is war. That doesn't stop them being complex issues.

Sometimes not allowing abortion is effectively homicide (occasionally more than one). Often not allowing abortion risks massive harm, physical or psychological (to mother, child or both). Sometimes not allowing abortion in a safe, professional environment pushes people towards much worse options. There is no single right answer. I'd argue that there often isn't any right answer at all, just a less wrong one.

The idea that there came a simplistic idea, wrapped up in the neat little "pro-life" or "pro-choice" package, that can encompass everything there is to this diverse, complex and emotive issue remains idiotic. The petty circular arguments between the people clinging to those labels has nothing to do with what is best for the real individuals involved and everything to do with your own egos.

And yet....when questioned, you can't give SPECIFICS on how you would obtain evidence to prosecute such a "homicide" in your "perfect world"????

Language is not a strong suit in this one....rational thought even less so.

Well you are entitled to your self righteous attitude and opinion, but watering down the fact that it is a homicide doesn't do anyone any good. I want honest debate on the subject, but there are too many people who will deny that abortion is a homicide no matter what. I do not perfectly agree with either side's canned platform.

But now that we have agreed this is a homicide, shouldn't the same rules that govern other homicides govern these too? If there is a self defense reason, then there should be some oversight by some authority and the case can be evaluated. There are no other instances anywhere in our society where a premeditated homicide is considered merely a "personal decision". wouldn't you agree?

Emotion should never be a reason to allow someone to commit a homicide BTW, so what does it being and "emotive" issue have to do with anything?

I tend to agree, but it is so much fun baiting pro-lifers about their impossible to enforce stance, especially when they start jumping to all sorts of fantasy flights and in the end if no one stood against them it leaves the playing field wide open for their propaganda to flourish.

The respect for all human life even in the womb, is based on a livable and moral worldview.

The Nazi-like philosophy that does not respect all life...that thinks killing is the way to solve problems.....is based on an unlivable and immoral worldview.

You presume to know what everyone is thinking about abortion. You make statements in no way you can prove. You mentioned "minorities moral viewpoint."

Can't be proven...but you keep stating it like it is fact.

I would like to post your positions on abortion if I may. Enjoy. Oh, which statements go against this.... "Pro- "choice" position : The individual woman should control her own reproductive system"
    LMAO

    Here we go.

I see in this statement that you are denying the rights of women...and you base it on your morality.

So its in your opinion that you don't want to allow......(let me say this again).....YOU don't want to ALLOW WOMEN TO MAKE A DECISION CONCERNING THEIR BODIES. NOT YOUR BODY....THEIRS. Wow....you enslave them...that is what you do. And you think your so pro-choice.

    You said,
AGain you deny...you take away....no free choice in your statements...not at all.

Whose decision when? Stipulations....regulations.....YOU ARE THE ONE DENYING. :)

Oh your for womens rights...UP UNTIL YOU SAY ITS WRONG TO ABORT. LMAO

Doesn't matter how difficult a law is to enforce. A premeditated homicide purely for convenience should be outlawed.

Enslave, enslave, enslave..No, Fugazi does NOT want to FORCE his morals on anyone else like you do. YOU want to make abortion illegal (since you already got yours, or so you say)...that is FORCING your "morals" on others. Fugazi does NOT want to FORCE NAZI-LIKE his morals on others.

    Prove it

    Prove it

To anyone with a little bit a sense it has been proven numerous times, but of course anything posted that doesn't adhere to your moralistic viewpoint is biased.

No you may not, but that won't stop you ..

already addressed numerous times, but as usual you only think your viewpoint is relevant.

You keep on about this premeditated homicide, yet the only person you have convinced is yourself. I have yet to see one other person actually agree with you (apart from the other radical religious pro-lifer we have here), you never address the questions put to you merely squirming away with some meaningless drivel .. is it any wonder that few take you seriously.

What makes me any more self righteous than you?

Neither does obsessing over that one aspect.

As I pointed out, there are lots of different forms of homicide and they all have different rules and laws. I see abortion as different again and so it needs rules and laws dedicated to it.

I agree. In general it should be doctors since the majority of cases will be a medical (physical and/or psychological) decision.

Emotive issues (or issues that have been made emotive by the manner of debate) cause people to respond to them in an emotional rather than rational manner.

Yup! Anti-sex (showing that they have deep seated sexual issues) but mostly it's Anti-Women Having Sex.

Women , according to Anti-Choicers, should only have sex when their husband wants it and if that husband impregnates them against their will it's their moral duty to have it. To them it's ""If I can't have fun sex, NOBODY can!""

Your condenscending tone.......OK well maybe mine is too.

That one aspect is the most critical aspect! Taking the life of a human being should be obsessed over when determining if it is justified or not!!!

It just isn't that different, if it is different at all.

    Uh......So what?
When the subject matter is homicide, we should demand rationality!

Read the UVVA! Read the numeroud fetal homicide laws on the books.

your ignorance of the subject matter here is appauling.

I don't want you to take me seriously. You are irrational and incapable of understanding basic logic.
