Bachmann? Most "acceptable" candidate? That's sad on quite a few levels.

"the Tea Party accepting money from the very banks that got bailouts?"

    Taxcutter says:
Nowhere near what the Democrat Party and their candidates got from the bailed-out banks.

    Taxpayer says:
Not as sad as Al Franken or Jesse Ventura - both Minnesota office holders.

AHHHH The Moral Comparative! Straight out of the Whackjob Handbook!
So let's see. The Tea Party is no different than the parties you criticize but they're better because um, er, um, because you like them! TY TY TY...

I have been saying that for a long time. You have Libs promising people everything. You have Libs crying for higher taxes, knowing many of them will never have to pay them. You have teachers and professors pushing Liberalism in our schools and universities. Kids coming out feeling the world owes them. The government owes them. This is not the Democratic Party that I voted for when Kennedy ran.

The Libertarian Party is the one with less religious freaks. You'd be better off voting for them than the Republicans.

Well, I see that you have gotten the right wing propaganda down pat and are still living in the early 60s. I'm 70 and have grown over time.

Bachmann better than Ventura? What's your reasoning behind such a statement?

Can you tell me why anyone would vote for the "not me" party? Is it to escape reality? I actually agree with some of the libertarian views but the "not me" attitude of most libertarians just turn me off.

    "The Moral Comparative!"

    Taxcutter says:
Make you a deal. The Tea Party will reject money from bailed out banks if the Democrats will follow suit. We'll see who comes out on top after that.

that ignores some basic political tenets

the general theory is the the democratic party is the party of the common people

for example, affordable healthcare, education, social programs for the needy et al

the gop is the party of wall street, billionaires and those they have fooled into vote against themselves

for example, anyone in the tea party that isn't a multimillionaire, big oil subsidies, tax cuts for the rich & etc

I think that was also a broad stroke, but......

The overall general truth of the statement cannot be denied and I commend you for the simple clarity of your post.

I never said anything about where the 'Affordable Care Act' came from. All I'm getting at is that Republicans aren't the only ones who play 'patty-cake' with the rich.

And if that was the case, the wage tax would be abolished.
