You had better discuss that with the Copts living in Egypt. They consider themselves EGYPTIANS and want to live in Egypt- they would be the last people on the face of this earth to want a divided Egypt. Trust me on this as I know many here. There are many many muslims who have always stood with their fellow egyptians. Egypt does not need to be divided on religious grounds. That is what the Morsi govt and his MB party was and is trying to do. Egypt needs to stay united and does not need to be divided. This is a battle between EGYPTIANS against religious fanaticism.

Oh so then it's not the Brotherhood that's blaming the Christians for their ouster, it's the army...Huh? :confuse:

The Jews were not the only ones ethnically cleansed in Egypt under Nassar, all the Christians were as well. Since the Copts had no place to go to, their doors were marked with red crosses, probably for extermination. I recall the hotels in Greece being packed with waiters from Egypt, since they were fluent in five languages.

The Greeks though were lucky, since they were allowed to take some of their belongings. The Italians, French and British who were living there had to leave pennyless. I did read that Nassar gave the Arabs back their pride, so I guess confiscating another's goods is a source of pride in the Arab world? As to be expected, ten years later the beautiful areas of Cairo where the foreigners lived turned into slums. As for Alexandria I don't know? They probably turned into slums as well. :confuse:

Neither of your 'sources' prove that the burning of Egyptian churches was official MB policy.

Apparently Western governments did not read that Yahoo news article, otherwise they all wouldn't have strongly condemned the massacre.

You sure love to cherry pick. From the same article:

    etc...

Your argument that the "sit ins were dens for rape and murder" is thus complete BS!

Liar. Retract or face the consequences.

I'm perfectly aware that in the M.E. it is customary to lie, yet we did see a video of young boys being forced to jump to their death by Morsi supporters. If they can do that to one group of youngsters, then they are certainly capable of doing everything they are being accused of. :confuse:

So advocating that at this point would be like pouring gasoline on a fire. Christians would become instant targets.

The strange thing here in Egypt that we are all wondering about is the strange silence from the West on the Ikhwan killing Christians.

    Why the silence?

No Western leader mentions it and all they talk about is economic aid and diplomatic relations and not a word about Churches being burned.

I have not heard one word from Obama mentioning Christians or from Ashton or from Cameron or Hollande etc

    Is that not strange?.........................

    good observation!

I wonder who would be behind that then and wanting to turn Egypt into Iraq or Syria and keep it weak and under control?

who would be most to gain from that plan?......................... .........Who is pulling the strings of the puppet?

    Hmmmmmmmmmmmm?
