Obama approval plummeting: Lowest ever

Unfortunately approval ratings don't mean a darn thing. We're stuck with him till the end.

 

Bad approval ratings will not force Obama to leave office but it will make him less of a threat to our liberty during his remaining days.

 

Actually I was defending GW against TBryant's attack on him as indicated by his own quote.

 

I provided you with a comparison of GW's approval rating in his 5th year which was higher than Obama's in his 5th year. GW had started the unpopular war in Iraq and still his approval rating was higher. Think about it.

 

That's a great indication of how much less mudslinging was done during the Bush presidency.

 

I wonder what obama's approval rating would be if the liberal media didn't do everything it could to cover for him? So much propaganda has been spewed in favor of obama the failure that it is pathetic.

 

But my point had nothing to do with that. My point is that no matter how low Obamas approval is, the approval of the republicans in general is twice as bad. Obama is not up for re-election.

I could compare him to Nixon if you want to (he probably had higher approval when he was impeached eh?) but that has absolutely no relevance on the state of current politics. Its just tripe to make Obama haters feel warm and fuzzy.

Oh my... Morning Joe is slamming Obama for lying to the American people... and his latest attempt to crawfish outta what he said over and over. They actually accused the president of thinking we're all too stupid to understand what he meant by 'you can keep your ins'.

I don't know...Bush went from very popular to almost hated, he just took longer to hit the 30's than Obama has managed.

 

The problem with your proposal is that it makes 1/6 of our economy not for profit. While that might sound great to some, the folk providing this care might not want to become little more than poorly paid government employees. The medical community is not ready to go to a system where they make 30-50% less, nor are nurses and specialists...Then the millions of folk in the health insurance industry are also not all that keen to lose employment so the left can give free stuff to their 47%

 

I want to know who these 40% that support this pile of crap are?

As Americans, even when "our side" is wrong, we are supposed to stand up and call out those that did it. When Richard Nixon stepped too far out of line, it was Republicans that stood up as well and made him go. It's what you are supposed to do.

However, we have a new sect of politicos today that refuse to do what is right. Barack Obama and his team went WAY out of bounds on this one. Continuing to lie and supporting it is pathological. It's wrong. It's sick. You should be better than that.

Knock off the crap and do what you know you are supposed to do, not what benefits your ideology the most.

Misconception out of the gate.

The corporations, insurance and health cos go away. Then there is more money for health care professionals. The idle profit in the form of dividends to coporations become more dynamic profit returning more directly to the community. And its not "my proposal", its what every other industrialized country is doing

 

Not nearly as low as dubya...

 

There is an essential truth that the left fails to grasp...Republicans have fallen to a new low, from a low, but the dems and BoBo are in free-fall from good positions and no end of the decline is in sight.

 

What is surprising is that a significant bit of the dems 47% are also dumping the guy. They do not mind being lied to...they mind having to pay for any of their free goodies and that is what is killing BoBo and the dems. We are at the very top of the slope today, the rocks are sliding and gravity is taking effect but we have seen nothing yet.

When this hits bottom it might take decades to recover decent healthcare

Again, the Republican's favorability rating is the light green line. As you can see, their favorability is falling noticeably more than the Democrat's. They won't do well in 2014. I wonder how you they'll deal with the crushing blow.
