I'd like to chime in here and wish everybody on PF a merry Christmas, no matter what you believe in or how you celebrate it.

In spite of all your claims about atheist they still have some form of Christmas heart within them the love of joy, giving and forgiving Merry Christmas to All and All

So far as I can tell, atheists, or secular humanists as they sometimes like to call themselves, are miserable people most of the time so I doubt much could make them feel "Merry" unless it involved stomping a cat or having a neighbor's child arrested for trespassing for climbing a tree or some such thing. Maybe if a nursing home burns down on the 25th they will feel some joy in their soul, but otherwise, it is just an endless expanse of nothingness.

You must have an extremely sheltered life to honestly arrive at that conclusion. Most likely, your opinion is weighed heavily by your (legitimate or not) interpretation of atheists here as such, while you no doubt encounter numerous happy atheists in real life without even realizing it.

As far as you can tell, sure. You aint very perceptive of anything other than your own twisted thoughts, twisted in that this post only says something about you.

Interesting, my Christmas thus far has been quite happy. Between a wonderful breakfast, hot sex, and getting ready to see the grandchild it is a very pleasant day. Yet perhaps stomping the Cat and getting the neighbors kid arrested it will become even better.

Think I might run over a dog, blow up a church, eat a few babies and invoke Satans minions while I'm at it.

Religious people are some of the most hateful and narrow minded individuals out there.

I feel sorry for them i really do

Congratulations, that drivel is the most miserable, bigoted crap I have heard during the entire holiday season so far. So far as I can tell, atheists are vastly happier than someone who would post such mean-spirited things, especially at this time. If you had any shame I expect you would hang your head in it.

Which on the evidence of your comment is that you can tell very little that even comes close to reality .. but hey never mind all you have done is reinforce the belief that some Christians wouldn't now the true meaning of Christ if it bit them on the ass.

    BTW: Merry Christmas to you

If I said that to my mom it would get the same sort of response as if I said
I think that J. Smith might have made up the story about gold books.
Or that Santa may not be real.

Yes, this nails it precisely. As an atheist, I enjoy pulling the wings off flies, poisoning the pigeons in the park, and leaving unhealthy junk food out for Santa.

It had to have been nothingness that led Handel to write the "Messiah".

Doubtless a combination of nothingness and money. It's a combination that works for me!
