The Russians laugh at Presidonk Obama? Well, after all, he is kinda goofy looking....

[IMG] When Obama "comes out", it'll be as a White transvestite! The hyperlibs will rapturously clamor for a third-term!

However "weak" or "incompetent" Obama may seem, he is still the best one we could elect. His Republican opponents were really bad. Obama is a natural centrist, a little to the left and a little to the right... The same is in case with Crimea, sanctions, but no military intervention. He did not have enough courage just tell us: "I do not care. Let us mind our own business."

A naïve question: why not to run a referendum in Syria? Will Pres. Assad agree? How about rebels? Will they agree? NATO would provide all the security....

So by that logic then the Elections in Iraq which were held when the country had a sizable foreign presence are not a true vote then?

seriously, this is a fight between idiot Ukrainian nationalists and idiot Russiam imperialists.

Obama is right to not want to get our hands too dirty in this Slavic civil war.

Perhaps you want Putin as President of the United States?

How many wars would McCain have started if he were elected in 2008? He wants to invade everyone.

Interesting post, considering that in your post immediately before that one (#102), you criticized Obama by saying, "He did not have enough courage just tell us: 'I do not care. Let us mind our own business.'" You got this part right! But then...

You think Obama was the best person we could have elected in 2012...?! With the enormous economic problems that we are mired in, you don't think an accomplished businessman who also had an good track record as a successful governor of a contentious state like Massachusetts might have been able to do a better job? You like the empty-suit autocratic LIAR who rules the country now with "a phone and a pen"...? You've got another three long, miserable years to meditate on the "wisdom" of your decision.... :wall:

McCain needs to retire, be quiet, and go get drunk at the golf courses in Phoenix every day. Obama could join him and we'd be rid of two problems at once!

Why not? The Federal Reserve combine runs everything in the United States, just like central banks run Europe, and nearly everything else in the world. However, it is not yet clear that they completely run Russia or China....

Far too old now could not pass the physical during Vietnam, but my Marine Captain son is still active and my medical retirement Marine Sargent son did.

Again, the best way to prevent a war is to be willing to go to one.

So you become a policeman yet? Fireman?

    Hypocrisy.

The case between Iraq and Kuwait was a case of two small nations of the Middle East. But in that case the US not only "restricted visas" but attacked Iraq without mercy.

Today, when the enemy is of an equal weight than the US army, the US is not attacking Russia (the invader) but is abusing Ukraine by sending it a billion dollars "loan" so Ukraine will become economically dependant (slave) of the US.

What a way to help the nation allies... lol.

The same thing was said about Bush when he invaded Iraq, Afghanistan, and then tried to justify another war on Iran.

The people of Crimea decided they want to stick with Russia, not Ukraine which has been taken over by a bunch of crazed pro fascism coup. This is democracy in action so that the pro war and fascism apologists haven't got a leg to stand on.

I don't believe 20,000 Russian troops invading Crimea was a democracy in any fashion of the sort. Sure many Crimeans want to join Russia, but at least do it without foreign military presence. The Ukrainian parliament voting to oust Yanukovich 328 - 0 was more like a democracy than what happened in Crimea. Crimea is a lost cause now anyways...

Actually, that's more conducive to mutual destruction.

The Cold War certainly wasn't handled that way.

Going to war with Russia would be WW3, and no one really wins that other than cockroaches.

Ugh. Russia has ALWAYS "laughed" at the US President. It doesn't matter if Obama, Bush, Clinton, Palin, McCain, Romney, Beyonce etc was President, Putin was always going to do whatever the hell he wanted to do. He invaded Georgia with Bush as president.

Not everything that happens in the world is because of Obama. The Eastern European crisis is a crisis that has nothing to do with Obama or his policies. Let's not be zany here.

But did the Russians interfere in the Crimean vote? I've seen no proof - have you?

The Taliban was a democratically elected government in Afghanistan. Then the USA invaded and dethroned them. Nobody objected when that happened so there goes the moral higher ground Europe and Obama are claiming. Small wonder why the Taliban has made a resurgence.

Ironically, it was Republican Wall street that financed Bolshevism while liberal Harry S Truman created the Truman Doctrine that confronted and ultimately defeated them.

    Holy Necro!!!!

Pretty funny to see the Russians say they were laughing at the sanctions. Considering how badly their economy has been slashed since 2014 its everyone else who is laughing.

You amazingly incompetent. The International Commission has established that the first Georgia launched military actions against Russia. Russia defended. It is known to all. But you continue to write nonsense as parrot. That's funny.

Russian real laugh over sanctions. If we talk about the economy. Drop occurs worldwide. Only difference is that in Russia manufactures opened, but in the United States - closed . In Russia, growth in agriculture (such as Russia now overtaken the United States for the production of grain in the world In other words, Russian farmers are replacing American farmers to the world grain market Another example -... Now the Russian №4 in global exports of pork, but 3 years ago, Russia was the second pork importer (Japan №1)) But in the US - the decline in agriculture.
In Russia - rockets fly into space, but in the United States - the rockets exploded.... In the end, the president of Russia - Putin, but the US president - Obama. Do you understand the difference?..... And so on.... Take a look at the perspective.
