    Exactly right!

Also exactly right! Skin color has nothing to do with culture. American culture, as least what constituted that culture for much of American history was and remains an improvement upon western culture. It may have been whites who first established the norms we think of as American culture, but the culture itself is not restricted to whites. Personal responsibility, self-reliance, self-control, thirst for knowledge, strong work ethic, objectivity, etc, are cultural norms, not racial norms. If a culture is superior, the attributes it espouses, when embraced by persons of different races and having equal intellectual capabilities, should result in superior human beings. Many examples exist within American culture that prove this point.

One such example who's been in the news recently is Dr. Benjamin Carson, a black man born in Detroit in 1951. His mother and father divorced when Ben was 8, and he was raised by his mother. His mother was uneducated and could barely read. His mother had a strong work ethic, working several jobs at a time to support her children. At the age of 9 or 10, Ben and his brother were near the bottom of their school class, and Ben had developed a violent temper. Ben's classmates even nicknamed him "stupid". At that point, his mother took her sons in hand, and laid American culture on them with both hands. She shut off their television set, made them complete their homework every night, and assigned them books to read and report to her on every week. Her boys weren't allowed to play until their homework and chores were completed. She developed their work ethic. Ben Carson soon began to embrace his education, reading incessantly, and graduated high school at the head of his class. He continued his education at Yale, degree in psychology. Continuing his education at the University of Michigan Medical School, specializing in neurosurgery and graduating. His residency was at Johns Hopkins University. At the age of just 32 he was appointed Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins. As Director he didn't just oversee staff, he continued performing surgeries himself and achieving numerous firsts in neurological surgery. Among those firsts was the first successful separation of Siamese twins who were joined at their heads, the first intra-uterine procedure to relieve pressure on the brain of a fetal twin, and the very first hemispherectomy. Ben Carson's many surgical achievements are not only recognized by the medical world, but by his country as well. He received the highest civilian award the US offers, the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

A black man from Detroit, poor, headed in all the wrong directions at an early age, but changed into a world-renowned neurosurgeon. Changed how? Changed by the cultural influences his mother shoved down his little throat; i.e., strong work ethic, personal responsibility, self-reliance, thirst for knowledge, civility, and the development of well-deserved self-confidence. Without the acceptance of these cultural attributes, Ben Carson may well have ended up in the morgue after a gang fight at the age of 12 or 14.

Following are just a few of Dr. Carson's cultural observations that worked for him and will work for others:

Honesty: If you lead a clean and honest life, you don't put skeletons in the closet. If you put skeletons in the closet, they definitely will come back just when you don't want to see them and ruin your life.

Insight: It comes from people who have already gone where you're trying to go. Learn from their triumphs and their mistakes.

Nice: If you're nice to people, then once they get over the suspicion of why you're being nice, they will be nice to you.

Knowledge: It makes you into a more valuable person. The more knowledge you have, the more people need you. It's an interesting phenomenon, but when people need you, they pay you, so you'll be okay in life.

Books: They are the mechanism for obtaining knowledge, as opposed to television.

In-Depth Learning: Learn for the sake of knowledge and understanding, rather than for the sake of impressing people or taking a test.

God: Never get too big for Him.

    re: saving white culture
    easy: 1. Ban feminism
    2. Ban Same sex marriage
    3. Restrict immigration

Hardly difficult - and ok, one cannot ban and idea literally, but it can certainly be discouraged.

It really is not that difficult is it? I would add banning mother's having children out of wedlock, especially teenagers, You may have already covered that point by banning feminism.

I think the way to that goal is to ban the government from being baby daddies for these children. Tough love is what I propose, cut them off. There is no reason for the rest of us to financially support raising children out of wedlock when said support is causing the problem in the first place.

Eh, let's just ban humanity period.

I think Meerkats should become the next fully sentient life to evolve after humans are gone.

Do you not agree that we are making things worse by supporting this behavior? If we stop financially supporting teenage moms, then hopefully the parents of the teens will step in and support that family.

Continuing to allow baby mamas to be supported by the US taxpayer is a retarded move in every way. We are causing the problem by subsidizing it. The problem would mostly go away if we simply supported traditional family structure.

Their dreaming really interesting in places. There are definite stories that describe a landscape that only existed during the ice age. One of the major Western Aboriginal religions (The Wanji) Seems to be based on events surrounding the end of a 1000 year drought lol

You do realize that this attitude towards teenaged moms is a modern attitude, don't you?

In the early years of America, teenaged moms were pretty much the norm and accepted because of America being largely an agricultural and they needed large families to work the farms.

And don't count on the family to help their children. There are deadbeat moms and dads.

Very much so, my mom was married at 16 years old. What is different is that back then, the penalty for getting pregnant/getting someone pregnant and not getting married and raising the child caused the problem to be much less than it is today

One of the big problems as I see it is that the government's welfare problems places more importance on infants and children and will give much more money to those who have children than the childless adult. I don't agree with this myself. It is the financial aspect that encourages teenagers to go out and have children.Or at least one of them.

Unfortunately, all I can do is point out the problems that i do know about, and I really don't have any kind of solution to them.

I agree, there really is no solution, because society has lost all of its backbone to deal with such issues. In the past, society did not use taxpayer dollars to subsidize cultural and economic failure.

I am soft hearted too, I understand the failings of today's culture, which is that we all subsidize failure, we subsidize behavior that cannot survive.

In the end, we will all fail, but in the meantime we are putting that off for others to deal with.

Well New Guniea is not the aboriginals I was referring to. Yet morals are subjective if I were to try and put down ever evil done by "white" people it would be days worth of info. According to our morals most humans that lived before us were not nice people.

I used that as example because unlike ours they can completely claim their culture as their own. Their culture was segregated had no outside influences to borrow from. There is no one "white" culture if we had remained segregated on the British isles or like the Vikings we would not have changed either. Cultural imperialism is what we have, it borrows from all that came before us. Both the victors and the conquered no one "race" can claim it as their own. It is a human culture that will continue to evolve until we reach perfection or destroy ourselves. To live at one with nature is the original culture and if we stumble it will return again assuming some humans survive.

Culture and civilization are completely different things. Yes, I like most everyone else find that disturbing. My morals or ethics do not determine success of a culture. All I said was if you use longevity you will not find a culture that endured longer.

I find genocide to steal someones land immoral but I live here. I am southern but find owning people treating them like livestock, raping the women, and selling their children immoral. Evidently at the time my ancestors thought that was ok since they believed them sub-human. I was not segregated so I learned from other cultures and combined those beliefs with my own. Culture evolves if exposed to other cultures you hopefully keep the good and do away with the bad. I doubt another culture of humans ever survives that long. It is impossible and as you point out immoral to not evolve. So why does the thought of us evolving bother so many?

How did the idea of the "do right" American really spread? Masons such as G. Washington helped.

I am fairly certain it would be impossible to find one. To maintain a culture that long requires segregation, geography provided that for them. The reason so many would like for us to be segregated, is that is the only way a culture will not evolve.

there may be some but verifying it would be difficult, the aborigines have been isolated for avery very long time...possibly the andaman islanders, but verification is difficult because artifacts dont preserve well nor do human remains in their home

One common error people make with anthropolgy is using the word evolve in regards to societies...most people understand evolve to mean become better, but anthropologically it means to change, social change doesn't need to he better or worse because thats entirely subjective....if culture is well adapted to its environment it doesn't need to change, it isnt going to become superior merely because it evolves...

To some extent however, to the extent that different cultures produce different results in terms of health, wealth and life expectancy the differences are more objective.

For example, the liberal social democratic european cultures are vastly superior to that of the slavic peoples to the east, and most other cultures. The quality of life acheived in these often very austere environments is not to to be overloooked.

It would be impressive if it could be found. 40,000 was the lower estimate on the aboriginal Aussie's some estimates place it at over 60,000.

I understand that and use it in that context. They mastered living in their envioment we have attempted to master changing our enviorment. If our culture leads to our extinction it was obviously inferior but that is yet to be seen. I do think it is a real possibility however. Many animals have evolved to only become extinct.

Culture is learned so when two come together they always change.

Indeed, to a great extent a liberal european culture is not superior to the aborigines because theyve done rather well on their own.

    Hardly the same.

first off SSM is just an admin joke, and feminism a kind of warped form of social Marxism - but totally off kilter, and immigration - why should the foreign dregs be allowed to freeload off the more advanced nations?
