http://www.wnd.com/2002/07/14501/ I refer you to the above news article. Arabs are currently squatting, in their millions, on Israeli land. If a squatter was living in your house, what would you do? Well you would attempt to evict him. If he did not move, what would you do? You would call the police. If the squatter started to shoot you, then what? Call in an armed police unit to "deal with them". God bless Israel.
Who the hell cares what you call them? How are these people "squatters", exactly? It was and has been, If I'm not mistaken, Israel continuously pushing past its pre-war borders by creating "settlements". Land grabbing that is illegal under international law, and the Palestinians are the squatters? Hah. Your last sentence makes me think that you support Israel doing whatever the hell it wants because the Bibol told you that the Joos are the "Chozen Wonz" and deserve that land. You people need to catch up to the 21st Century.
what a lame troll attempt. I find that when ignorance, stupidity and hate converge in pernicious partisanship there is no need to add more ridicule.
I tend to agree with the article that has and still project the truth. Joseph Farrah is not some one that likes to have his name in the limelight but as a personality and a writer/historian he has always stated the truth. Palestinian People does not exist BY ~JOSEPH FARAH [Joseph Farah is founder, editor and CEO of WND and a nationally syndicated columnist with Creators News Service.. He is the author or co-author of 13 books, including his latest, "The Tea Party Manifesto," and his classic, "Taking America Back," now in its third edition and 14th printing. Farah is the former editor of the legendary Sacramento Union and other major-market dailies.] Read more at http://www.wnd.com/2002/07/14501/#bsZzXC3OFfDLMGBB.99 A provocative headline? It’s more than that. It’s the truth. Truth does not change. Truth is truth. If something was true 50 years ago, 40 years ago, 30 years ago, it is still true today. And the truth is that only 30 years ago, there was very little confusion on this issue of Palestine. You might remember the late Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir making the bold political statement: “There is no such thing as a Palestinian people.” The statement has been a source of ridicule and derision by Arab propagandists ever since. They love to talk about Golda Meir’s “racism.” They love to suggest she was in historical denial. They love to say her statement is patently false – an intentional lie, a strategic deception. What they don’t like to talk about, however, are the very similar statements made by Yasser Arafat and his inner circle of political leadership years after Meir had told the truth – that there is no distinct Palestinian cultural or national identity. So, despite the fact that conventional wisdom has now proclaimed that there is such a thing as the Palestinian people, I’m going to raise those uncomfortable quotations made by Arafat and his henchmen when their public-relations guard was down. Way back on March 31, 1977, the Dutch newspaper Trouw published an interview with Palestine Liberation Organization executive committee member Zahir Muhsein. Here’s what he said: [The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct “Palestinian people” to oppose Zionism. For tactical reasons, Jordan, which is a sovereign state with defined borders, cannot raise claims to Haifa and Jaffa, while as a Palestinian, I can undoubtedly demand Haifa, Jaffa, Beer-Sheva and Jerusalem. However, the moment we reclaim our right to all of Palestine, we will not wait even a minute to unite Palestine and Jordan.] That’s pretty clear, isn’t it? It’s even more specific than Golda Meir’s statement. It reaffirms what I have written on this subject. And it is hardly the only such statement of its kind. Arafat himself made a very definitive and unequivocal statement along these lines as late as 1993. It demonstrates conclusively that the Palestinian nationhood argument is the real strategic deception – one geared to set up the destruction of Israel.
Ohhhh! Paleos stabbed in the back by Yasser Arafat. BTW, Yasser Arafat learned his trade from Otto Skorzeny.
Ethnicity and nationhood exist in people's minds, independent of material reality. Palestinians started existing when people started thinking of themselves as Palestinians. The question of the existence of Palestinians is a red herring. The fact of the matter is, no ethnic or religious group is entitled to any slice of land, be they Israeli, Jewish, Palestinian, Muslim, Arab, Christian, etc.
Palestinians are Bedouins. Their country is Jordan ! The mijority in Jorfan ( more than 70% ) are Palestinians.
Arafat was an Egyptian. Great example of a 'Palestinian' - - - Updated - - - Arafat was an Egyptian. Great example of a 'Palestinian'
Taxcutter asks: That always bothered me. Why did the paleos select an Egyptian, trained by a Nazi as their leader?
Arafat's mother was Palestinian.. His father was Egyptian.. and he was born in Gaza. Pretty normal for the Levant. - - - Updated - - - Arafat was NO relation to the Grand Mufti.. and he was not trained by the Nazis.. He went to engineering school in Egypt.
Why did the Germans select an Austrian as their leader? Why did the Israelis select a european as their leader? - - - Updated - - - A pity he didnt mention the various Palestinian political parties that existed long before 1977. Israelis do not exist.
Only he was born in Cairo Egypt, not Gaza. Small fact, big impact. He was an Egyptian and had nothing to do with 'Palestine'.
I think we should give it all back to the Akkadians. After all they were the first ones there. Basically: Iraq, Iran, Turkey, Syria, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Jordan are all dirty squatters.
First of all- that is WND- not a 'news' article. Secondly Arabs live in Israel- and are Israeli citizens. Then there are also the Arabs who live in Gaza and the West Bank- which is not Israeli territory- and they have lived there for longer than the State of Israel has existed. Israel is not going away- it is the home of Israelis. Palestine is not going away- it is the home of Palestinians. These fantasies from both sides that somehow Israelis will disappear or Palestinians will disappear are just that- fantasies. Both sides need to give up on these fantasies in order to come to a solution that will allow both sides to live next to each other in peace.
Taxcutter says: A young Arafat learned terrorism (his real vocation) from Otto Skorzeny - Hitler's super-commando. Skorzeny was a Nazi to the core. Skorzeny escaped war crimes charges because he was always involved in real military operations.
Taxcutter says: Many Germans and not a few Austrians view Austria as part of Germany. "Austria" is an anglicization of "Osterreich" (Southern Kingdom). Austrians speak hochdeutsche just like in Bavaria. In 1948 almost all Israelis were born in Europe.
By this reasoning, there are no "Ukrainians" and the Russians are justified in taking their land back from "squatters".
Liar; only Arafat's grandmother was Egyptian. His mother and father were Palestinian. The Palestinians have always lived on the land. The Europeans who call themselves 'Israeli,' haven't.
