It doesn't matter who the Republican nominee for President will be because he WILL lose.

I picked Palin, but really like multiple choice because there is something good....for Democrats...in all of them.

Ted Cruz?....the guy whose Government Shutdown took the GOP to a RECORD LOW approval rating of 28%.

Rand Paul?.....THE biggest flip-flopper the Republicans have. Makes Mitt Romney look "principled and always consistant".

Jeb Bush?.....hated by the GOP Base on immigration....for everybody else, it'd be like electing Herbert Hoover's brother in 1940.

Paul Ryan?....again, suspected by the Base....plus his disasterous "coupon" plan for Medicare would hurt him as Prez Nominee worse than it did as Veep in 2012.

Sarah Palin?.....a fantasy candidate. Joe Biden's cat would win 40+ states against her. But Klondike Kardashian will NEVER run.....there's no money in it and when (not "if") she lost, her Cultists could never again talk about how "popular" she is.

Chris Christie?....again, hated by the GOP Base for "hugging up on Obama". Currently his approvals in New Jersey at his lowest level in years.

    Rick Perry?....imagine people wanting a "sequel"...to Dubya. Err...oops....no.

Donald Trump?.....Trump never runs...he promotes "The Apprentice" by TALKING about running. As much a huckster as Glacier Gidget.

Marco Rubio?....the guy the GOP Base hates the MOST...for pushing immigration reform. Plus, he's on par with Rick Perry on intelligence and political acumen. I once thought (as he likely did) the Nomination was his for the taking....then he became "Marco Amnesty" to the racists in the GOP...and he's finished outside of Florida.

BTW, if you included Palin and Trump...who will never run...you should have included Huckabee who IS running.

You got a lot of good names for her. Klondike Kardashian was the best.

I'm not a Republican, but if you're really interested in winning rather than just making noise, you should revisit Jon Huntsman. He's Romney-light without the baggage. Most of the people on your list are clowns.

And Romney was just Obama-light without also being a nation hater. So what your recommendation amounts to is "Elect a GOP style Obama . . . except one with an actual track record who could be vetted." Not to worry about that last part though as the Left dominated MSM ALWAYS thoroughly vets any and all GOP presidential contenders. Dem presidential contenders? Ahhh . . . not so much.

So let's see now . . . Barack Obama was predicted by rational people back in 2008 to become a very bad president if placed inside the Oval Office and so the solution set for the Left is to have the Right put their very own version of Obama into the Oval Office? Sweet!

I picked Perry because of his immigration stance, plus he's more electable than most realize.

Paul would be a great choice, and I agree with his foreign policy views.

Bush would be ok, and I mention him because I consider him electable.

None of the above. They are all equally incompetent.

This is what we have folks...a presidential lineup as clown car.

    "Oh ye of little faith!"

You make a reasonable point, but surely we can do much better than what we have now!

    given the climate of apathy

nobody will defeat Hillary. It will be close but IMO, too many will stay home

My suggestion was merely a practical one. But if you are not interested in winning, run any of those people on the list. hehe

A lot of people predicted that McCain would be a very bad president back in 2008. It looks to me like the people who predicted Obama would be a very bad president LOST that debate by a fairly wide margin.
