Remember...there is the HOPE of the Tea Partyers...and then...

    there is reality.

I'm betting on the second one. :)

Unless I am mistaken, Congress needs a 2/3rds majority to impeach a President. That will NOT happen.
If the Republicans win control of the Senate, then the President will veto EVERY pathetic bill that you pass. They will NEVER get the 2/3rds majority that they will need to override his vetoes.

the GOP is not going to take the Senate

the impeachment drum is being pounded by the media to try and get Democrats out to vote this november

the race card is gone since Obama isn't running

war on women doesn't work and the homosexual agenda doesn't mean much to 97% of the population

A Republican Senate would do exactly nothing. Even if the GOP had a filibuster proof majority in the Senate, control of the House, and a Republican President, they would still do exactly nothing.

    You want to know why?

Because the Tea Party is basically a bunch of people addicted to being outraged for the sake of being outraged. It doesn't matter what Republican office holders do - doing absolutely anything will get the Tea Party in an uproar. Because they want to be in an uproar. They'll take any slight excuse to start one. I mean, if they aren't railing against the traitors and RINO's in Washington, how are they going to get their moral superiority high? The Republicans could abolish the IRS and the Tea Party would still find some reason that it's a betrayal of conservative principles and anyone supporting it is selling them out and is almost as bad as a Democrat.

Frankly I wish they would do something about the immigration issue. I am sick of it and frankly if we are going to do something so and stop the hem and hahing all ready. For the record as bad as Obama has been he has done nothing to deserve impeachment for. You cant remove the guy just because he is not a good leader. He has do DO something to deserve it.

This is like watching a fish flopping on the dock. Pitiful. Liberals can't imagine a world where they're not in power. It's their natural right to (*)(*)(*)(*) over everyone.

I'm sorry to say I voted for the second option.

I don't trust any of them. Republicans are big on selling out.

I doubt impeachment will be in any serious discussions. And both parties need all the votes they can get. Immigration reform would buy a lot of votes.

neither will happen. there might be some small measure to give citizenship but nothing like amnesty. Obama will not be impeached but the process of gutting many of his unpopular policies will begin. health care will be gutted, spending will be curtailed a little, voter accountability measures will be pushed hard.

If the socialists retain the Senate and take the house will Obama be made President for Life first or will the purges clear the way for his ascendancy?
