The Reagan Myth is something right-wingers have taken as fact for many years. However, when the cold light of truth is shone on King Ronny, the right-wingers jump into full throttle denial mode. Their responses to the following video will prove this. Enjoy. http://www.occupydemocrats.com/watc...hat-breaks-down-how-reagan-destroyed-america/
I listened to the first 2 seconds, "it was time to bring a new sheriff to town". Then I realized what kind of independent and honest analysis I'd be getting from the video and decided not to waste my time. This is the same guy who tried to make it seem like Cuba has a world class healthcare system.
As Governor of California.... 1. He increased state spending by 177%.....Jerry Brown...or Ronald Reagan? 2. He increased state taxes by 30% of the state general fund......Jerry Brown...or Ronald Reagan? 3. He blocked corporate development of nature trails......Jerry Brown...or Ronald Reagan? 4. He blocked the building of new dams......Jerry Brown...or Ronald Reagan? 5. He signed legislation creating an "Air Resources Board", leading to the nation's first tailpipe emissions standards......Jerry Brown...or Ronald Reagan? 6. He signed one of the nation's most liberal abortion rights bill......Jerry Brown...or Ronald Reagan? 7. He opposed a ballot initiative that would have permitted the firing of teachers for being gay.....Jerry Brown...or Ronald Reagan? .
OccupyDemocrats? That's funny. But, at least conservatives have a heart. Look what the liberals have done to blacks and what they're doing to America. Liberals do love to live in the past, preferably 1917, and they are loathe to listen to President Obama now.
I think most right wingers acknowledge that they'd have to be taking the country back from Reagan now if he was still president. They'd also be acknowledging that son Ronnie is gay.
You might be wasting your time. In case you haven't noticed, conservatives don't want to hear the truth. They prefer to wallow in ignorance. For instance; by now it should be evident to everyone that Bush's tax cuts have led to reduced purchasing power for the masses. Yet conservatives want more of it.
there's no reason for us to CARE about Ronnie, dude. Now, if you were to show that Ludwig Von mizes was selling lead ingots, plated with gold, that would be different.
