Thank you! - - - Updated - - - That is not true. We are talking about abortions performed after 20 weeks. After 20 wks is very rare.
What was depicted in that video is real, these things actually happen: http://www.wnd.com/2005/04/30006/
And yet you call me heartless because I believe that women who got pregnant as a result of rape should not be allowed to have late-term abortions, which are only a very small percentage of abortions.
I don't get your point....are you saying that because they are a 'small " percentage they shouldn't be allowed? What has the % got to do with whether or not a rape victim has an abortion or when she has an abortion?

A “20-plus” week pregnant woman leaves the Orlando Women’s Center abortion clinic. The woman in the photo on was actually posing for a photo to be posted on Facebook. This photo was taken at Orlando Women’s Center by John Barros, a full-time pro-life evangelist. The woman in the photo on the right was actually posing for a photo to be posted on Facebook. She wanted all her friends to know she was having an abortion. The woman claimed to be “20-plus weeks” pregnant. Her reason for aborting is that she was pregnant with twins. She said that she already had a daughter and didn’t want another girl. John pleaded with her and other people offered to adopt her children and offered her money. Sadly, she went through with the late term abortion with no qualms. http://www.forerunner.com/blog/late-term-abortion-can-this-be-legal I guess when she found out it was twins it was just too much for her. Time to abort...
sorry, I have a problem with anything that pertains to be truthful when it comes from the mouth or propaganda of a pro-lifer, and this stinks of their usual saying what they want instead of the truth.
Your little scenario is totally made up , you have no proof of anything in that post. The fact that you can't address posts nor answer questions also proves that you have no argument.
Did any of the women in the above stories get an abortion .. no, so no relevance there then. since when did 8 weeks become 22 weeks, yet again no relevance to your own OP.
The above cases all deal with women who only discover they are pregnant hours before delivery. There is no indication that ANY of them were thinking of abortion. Discovery of pregnancy this late in the game is very rare, your link says one in 450 pregnancies. Don't think it is a matter for concern. This link says the woman was 8 weeks, so what is the problem? It doesn't even make sense that women would suffer through a pregnancy to over 20 weeks and then on a whim choose to have an abortion. An abortion which would be much more expensive and more dangerous for her in late term. It's so sad that you hate women so much that you must make up scenarios to make them look bad.
That could be worked as a compromise so long as pro-lifers stop trying to close down abortion clinics and remove all the restrictions that make getting an abortion harder .. but, we all know that isn't going to fly with pro-lifers.
I could do 16 weeks. As long as the woman is required to see the ultrasound of her developing fetus. And let's have a "3-strikes you're out" law, where on the third abortion the woman has to have her tubes tied.
As usual from pro-lifers there is no compromise involved, you still want to try to enforce your opinion onto them.
You seem to forget that when abortion was illegal women were still having abortions, and if you ban them again, not gonna happen, the same would happen again. - - - Updated - - - The Conservatives here in Texas disagreed with your cutoff date. - - - Updated - - - And the man or men should be neutered, do not forget it takes TWO to get pregnant.
Yes, but the man did not choose to get an abortion. Just like a woman should not be sterilized just because she got pregnant if she chooses to take responsibility for it and carry to term, that is. I have no problem sterilizing men who coerce their girlfriends into getting abortions, however.
Abortion is taking responsibility. How about sterilizing men who coerce their girlfriends into having sex when neither the girlfriend nor they themselves are prepared for parenthood? I'm sick of this stereotyping women as irresponsible sluts if they choose abortion. For instance..... 1. What if a woman who had an abortion at age fifteen, who went on to marry and have three kids, two of whom are seriously disabled, gets pregnant at age 35 and the possibility exists that this child will also be disabled? Should she abort? If she does abort, is she irresponsible? 2. What if a woman who had an abortion at age twelve, who went on to marry and bear and rear three children who are now grown, gets pregnant at age 42 and her husband is terminally ill with brain cancer (six months to live)? Should she abort? If she does abort, is she irresponsible? These types of cases happen all the time. No one but the woman involved can know how best to handle her situation. Now we have a bunch of people who have never even been pregnant or given birth, and never will, spouting off about what women should do and what women should be forced to do and how they should be punished for not doing that. Now--sterilization should be offered to every woman who has an abortion along with other forms of birth control. Her choice. For free. Sterilization should also be offered to the man who caused the pregnancy if he can be found. It should not be mandatory.
