So, in your eye (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*) is the same as "white trash", right? So, when ALL blacks were called (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)s....ALL, were all white people called "white trash"? I didn't think so.

So you might want to rethink that flawed logic.

 

People of Color is politically correct now, as is Queer. Not making that up. Next it will be back to colored peoples and queers and that will be accepted. Really. You can even take classes in Queer Studies. Crazy. When I was a kid you never said those words. Amazing how times change. My grandmother used to use the word 'Negroes" b/c MLK used it, and was called a racist one day b/c she didn't realize things had changed. She was trying to be polite and was so embarrassed.

My zip code is 13% white with the remainder black & Hispanic. To be exact:

Most people who call me a racist live in lily white neighborhoods. I assume that's true here as well.

I really don't care to post my zipcode, there are too many certifiable nuts on this forum. But I can assure you that I live in no "lily white suburban neighborhood". But then again, my neighbors are not walking on eggshells because I feel a certain way towards them either.

Few people refer to all blacks as (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)s today, because most people who use it use it as a negative word. As Chris Rock said, "there are black people and then there are (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)s." I recognize the realities involving this word so I don't use it unless I'm around people who don't care. I probably wouldn't use it if blacks didn't continue its use themselves.

 

Oh, because "few" people use the word today to refer to all blacks, it's ok. Cool, thanks for clearing that up.

 

I'm not sure about the customs and social norms of where you live... But here we tend to call people by what is known as their name. Names are a series of letters, which form words, chosen for a person, by their parents, shortly after birth. Typically each person is designated by two words, one given and one inherited, known as the "first name" (given) and the "last name" (inherited).

When we use "names," we can talk to or about a specific person, without resorting to nasty stereotypes based upon an irrelevant personal characteristic, such as a person's eye color ("Hey, blue-eyes! Blue eyes! ") or clothing choice ("Can you tell khaki shorts that dinner is ready?").

Try it. It works wonders.

 

Nobody asked for your zip code... but your refusal to share the demographics speaks volumes.

Well since I am friends with some really principled black people here in the South, I prefer to call them in plain English, just criminals. I don't need to bring the tone of their skin into it. All criminals are the same to me. They have no respect, nor a moral code, and are the most selfish people on earth. And most want what others worked hard for, because they are allergic to work. Makes em tired.

It is a typical tactic of the racists to bastardize the word and then baselessly call others racists to deflect from their own racist views and comments.

 

Its wrong to assume everyone, of a particular race, is guilty, based on the actions of another.

I suggest you use the word, "Democrats".

"Democrats" is descriptive and race neutral, plus its 98% accurate.
