Do you understand it now sir? Perhaps he should apply at Chick-fil-A, they're Christians and I'm sure they will give him a job.....they don't judge. Maybe cleaning toilets will help him further understand. I'm just curious how Mr. Smith lives with himself after putting his family from a lucrative life and job as a CFO, to living in a "trailer" home? It's one thing to do that to himself, but to subject your wife and 4 kids to that too?

He's the perfect example that show there's a difference between Intelligence and Smarts. He may be well educated and intelligent, but he is not very smart.

Unfortunately this sufferer of Pat Robertson's Disease (commonly referred to as Foot in Mouth Disease) is probably what gets him in trouble consistently and is the reason he is where he is today. This should be a call to action for us to wake up and recognize this disease and the millions of Americans it affects.

Let me start by saying that I don't eat at Chick-Fil-A (don't like their food) and disagree with the owner's stance on gay marriage.

I don't recall hearing anything about this when it happened so I had to go watch the original video. After seeing it, I have to say, if I were that man's employer I would have fired him as well. For one thing, I'd have to worry about his actions affecting my bottom line but more importantly for me, this is a person who was pulling in beaucoup bucks (aka living large) who decided to try and intimidate and belittle a young woman while she worked at a job that probably just barely paid her bills. In my book that is straight-up bullying and cowardice and I would not retain anyone with those characteristics.

If he were to apply for a job with me today, I might hire him if he seemed repentant and humbled but I surely wouldn't put him in a position where he had any authority over anyone.

At this point, if he doesn't have a job then that is his own fault (this occurred 3 years ago). He could get a job at some restaurant, somewhere...just as the young lady whom he berated did. His days of being a $200,000/yr CFO are likely over and done. He needs to accept that, find some humility, and then find a J-O-B wherever he can.

Considering how many times in the video he mentioned getting free stuff (free Cick fil A water) I wonder if he's a progressive and if he voted for more free stuff in 2008 and 2012 ?

Well he's getting free food stamps now, except I'm actually paying for it.

Adam Smith is so full of hate I'm surprised Morris Dees hasn't offered him a job at the SPLC.

I'm certainly not defending the stupidity of Adam Smith. He really messed his life up in one afternoon and lives a life of regret whether he admits it or not. He said; "Chick-fil-A is a hateful corporation. I don't know how you live with yourself and work here. I don't understand it.", which speaking of irony, is a factual statement and honest opinion. I never knew this even happened until I saw this tripe posted here and seeing adolescents gleefully crowing about a person's misfortune.

However, let's get back to irony and I'll point out some;

1) The receptionist told him "the voicemail is completely full, and it's full of bomb threats, - This is the work of those compassionate and even tempered GOP/conservatives. Who did worse, Adam Smith who berated a poor underpaid employee or those who called in and threatened lives with bomb threats?

2) "a young, low wage, entry level employee" - No article pointed out she was "entry level" (she could have been the Assistant Manager) but places like Chick-fil-A routinely underpay their help (low wage) which the GOP/conservatives promote and another value of theirs.

3) Adam Smith committed no crime but was fired due to "Political Correctness" and I noticed how much the right loves PC, or maybe not, unless it plays into their narrative. Irony or hypocrisy..or both?

4) "Food Stamps" - Something the GOP/conservatives are trying to eliminate because it makes people lazy and is abused by blacks.​

The epicaricacy of the right here does nothing but promote animus for their so called values.

If this was an off the cuff rant and someone else recorded it I might have more sympathy since he apologized. But the guy was stupid enough to not only plan it all out ahead of time but then he posted it himself. He is getting what he deserved.

The disgusting part is the contrived video he had his kids make with the toothbrush gun. When asked why they made it they said because they were poor and didn't have food. He is one of those people who just can't get enough of himself on youtube.
