So...your point being that it is LIFE itself that is "Applying the Pressure"?

Thats like blaming water for a drowning...just plain silly.

Ridiculous, emotional , and dishonest, fake photo Anti-Abortion BS.

But it IS an inconvenience, and quite painful, for a woman to have her cervix stretched open and she doesn't have to if she doesn't want to......YOU can't control that :)

There is nothing but an appeal to emotion available to use in this, as the scientific and physical reality are against them. They have the God argument and the personhood stuff and nothing else.

Yes, yes, no one has ever been born into difficult circumstances and made something of themselves. Everyone is doomed.

Tell you what. Let's say you're right and that life saved is somehow objectively (*)(*)(*)(*)ty, or as objective as such things can be. If the person living it subjectively agrees with you, they can take their own life. No one else should get to preemptively take it from them on the assumption that their life is going to be (*)(*)(*)(*)ty.

Yes, we know sociopaths exist. Thanks for the reminder.

A sociopath is not "someone who disagrees with you."

Hmmph. In this case, it's pretty close.

But no, not all proponents of abortion are sociopaths. You do, however, enable the sort of scumbags who have no respect for the rights of other human beings to kill in aggression over and over and over again without remorse or sign of having a conscience.

Killing another human being in aggression and having no remorse is as strong an indicator of sociopathy as there is.

But since it is arguable whether an embryo is a human being... those who promote controlling and forcing actual human beings to use their bodies against their will, risking their health and lives--those are the real sociopaths.

Exactly like slave owners......the comparison to Anti-Choicers is apt.

    No, it isn't.

A living organism of the species Homo sapiens is a living organism of the species Homo sapiens.

You don't have an argument. To be fair to you, this is because there is no way to concoct such an argument, as it stands in the face of objective reality and scientific fact.

Appeals to authority don't work if the authority in question is asserting something that is objectively false.

Something is either a living organism of the species Homo sapiens, or not. At every stage of life from zygote until our eventual death, we humans are.

"Objectively false" according to whom? There is no consensus on the point at which one becomes a human being.

Scientists disagree about the that too.

You are correct that it is life as orchestrated by our inhuman society, and therefore the abortions are not a fair or honest choice.

“Offer them a deal they cannot refuse.” ~ From the Godfather movie.

I honestly do not blame the parents who get an abortion because the pressure is very real and very cruel, so the parents are criticized if they do and they are punished if they do not.

    ===========================================

It is important to see that this quote above is the true supporter of the abortion industry.

They view both the babies and their parents as unwanted and as sub-human and that we need to dispose of those babies (unborn fetuses).

This person above is a representation of the pro-abortion industry in that they are NOT promoting women's rights or promoting healthier living as they see the babies as garbage being born from garbage which needs to be stopped.

There is the true friend of abortions.

And particularly abortions for minority parents, who are more socially unwanted.

    =============================================

That picture does nothing of value, and it is unnecessary, and it does not help your cause.

There is just no way to explain this in detail that your tactic of using horrible images makes your self to look inhuman.

    =============================================

I do not see any justice in viewing money as the basis of life, when having a baby is the true LIFE.

When a person (parents) can not afford the health care for having a baby then our society needs to provide the health care to those in need - including after care.

Some claim that providing the abortion is providing the health care and THAT is inhuman and it is anti-life.

When we say = "It takes a village to raise a child" = Then that means the village helps the two parents in raising the baby.

The abortion industry is our society saying that the village will get rid of the baby and we will NOT help to raise the child.

Oh woe is me! life is unfair!

The "village" is NOT responsible for everyone's children. I am NOT responsible for everyone's children.

OH so you're saying LIFE pressures them....well, LIFE pressures everyone to make decisions and NO one is OWED a baby.

I have no idea what your point is. You can wish and hope and wish and hope, like a child, expecting life to be perfect ...or , you can accept that it isn't like an adult....

No one is stating that money is life....yet is most certainly a part of it. Strangely, it is often those most vocal about denting abortion that work hardest to deny the help those in poverty would need to avoid it. Just as Christians deny birth control yet complain about unwanted pregnancy...makes very little sense to me.

That's the question of morals and perception, not pure scientific fact and thus it can be easily manipulated. Scientists are human beings, too. Not everything they say is scientifically proven. Sometimes they make prejudiced statements that represent their personal views.

That was kind of the point I was trying to make in response to "(an embryo is a human being because) "A living organism of the species Homo sapiens is a living organism of the species Homo sapiens..." (post 34)

It is a privilege and honor to help other people in their needs.

The village helps other members of the village because we are all just human beings trying to survive.

You said that twice now of being "OWED" a baby and I can not get your meaning, so please explain?

Do you view the government (or society) as allowing parents to have a baby or not to have the baby - is that how it is OWED?

I see every baby as a blessing from God, and babies are a free gift to the parents.

I understand about accepting the world as it is, and that is why I feel pity and shame for the parents of the babies murdered by abortions.

I honestly see the parents (both the father and mother) as being the bigger victim of the abortion then are the unborn children.

For me it is wrong to accept any injustice or cruelty in the world, as like abortions, without me trying to help those being abused.

Perhaps my point is lost and hopeless, but I will cling to that before accepting otherwise.

You: ""I see every baby as a blessing from God, and babies are a free gift to the parents. ""

Well, not everyone sees baby as a blessing from anyone and babies are NOT free....they cost a LOT!

Your morals and perception have no relevance to other people, it is my perception that pro-lifers are tackling the issue of abortion from completely the wrong angle and it is my moral judgement that no other person has the moral right to force a woman to remain pregnant and give birth .. does my position mean I can force others to bend to my will, can I force you to bend to my will?

The fact of the matter is that there is simply no consensus amongst scientists that an embryo is a human being and as far as I am aware we don't make laws restricting people based on "we don't know".

Despite the pro-lifer insistence that pro-choicers don't want to see, at least, a reduction in abortions the truth of the matter is we do, we simply do not believe, and all the evidence supports that belief, that legislation will effect abortion at all. Comprehensive sex education and free at source contraception have been proven to reduce unintended pregnancies and abortions, legislation and abstinence only sex education do not.

Exactly. That's the point I was actually implying. By addressing the consequences, not the problem, we are not going to solve anything in this country. Pregnancy is a consequence of unprotected sex as we all know. You want to make every fetus matter? Stop advocating sex as the ultimate tool for being successful (as we see it in mass media) and promote sex education. Then make clear people having sex become more responsible.

How do you make people having sex more responsible? Responsible for what? Having an abortion when you can't afford or don't want a kid IS responsible.
