Hello. I'm Rafał from the capital of Poland, Warsaw. I registered here long time ago, but just now I've decided to read and learn something. I have a trouble with English so I hope that I'll increase my skill in this aspect. I think that I'm very tolerant and resistant to propaganda. I have no authorities, they don't exist for me. If you have any questions about opinion of mine and Poland's society on the subject of the situation in Ukraine, Russian or European Union's politics, write right now! I struggle to be maximally neutral as it's possible. Personally I have liberal views both economic and social.
Welcome back. Don't worry about your English. As it is most of us here still haven't mastered it so you're in good company. Definitely check the place out some more. I think you'll find some of our sub sections to be an interest to you. Hope you enjoy.
I kan. No, but welcome to the forum. You English is perfectly good. I even have a theory that an accent and even a grammatical error now and then can make a person's language slightly more interesting. Are you and other Polish people optimistic and confident about the economy in Poland at the present time?
The majority don't worry about it, I think. We don't have enormous shocks in economy. Unemployment is decreasing. Naturally, part of the society complains on the subject of job for young people especially after the college. However there is no big problems but "optimism" is abuse in my opinion. We had the presidential election in May and we're having parliamentary election in autumn. Our former (now) president lost about 30-40% of his voters within half a year. His party, which have had power for 8 years is going to lose and our two-party system (70% of seats in their hands) is falling, there are creating new party with great potential. Subject of Russia and economy going to be less important for the most crucial political battle for the last decade.
