If the US and its allies are serious about shutting this thing down, why haven't we bombed their oil facilities to smithereens by now? That's apparently the primary source of their funding at this point. Are we not allowed to destroy Big Oil's hardware? Is it capture intact or do not touch? Is that it?
The powers that be are looking for a global enemy in order to fully enslave us under the guise of protecting us.
Maybe because we're not savages. Remember the huge lingering mess caused when Saddam blew up the Kuwaiti oil fields?
This has been something I've wondered as well. Stop the oil, cripple ISIS. I don't know what would be necessary to retake the oil fields, but I believe it could be done without bombing them.
absolutely US is not serious on this!they are useful for US and its ally.ISIS made by US supports from terrorists groups in Syria which changed some calm protests to a civil war.just like what happened in Afghanistan and Al-Qaeda made. I asked these questions in a topic: US is pro or anti ISIL? http://www.politicalforum.com/political-opinions-beliefs/406218-us-pro-anti-isil.html but no one answered me!do U ave any answer or explanation for that?
If they're destroyed, what reason does ISIS have to put them out? Why not use them as environmental warfare and then it fits into their rhetoric even more?
Obama's bombing campaign against ISIS is pitiful. Most attack sorties end up returning to base with a full load of bombs. Obama has lost the initiative against ISIS. It's possible that ISIS may win. Didn't Obama say he had Al Qaeda on the run? That's not true either.
The Islamic State currently controls 1 oil field producing a meager 2000 barrels a day, most of which goes to the citizens living in and around Mosul and Raqqa, at one point they were making millions of dollars a day smuggling oil but they've all been bombed except one Why that one is still active i don't know, might have something too do with humanitarian reasons for the people living under their control, or the fact that burning oil feilds provide great cover from helicopter attacks and IS fighters have been know to light them on fire on purpose http://english.alarabiya.net/en/New...ues-hit-by-lost-Iraqi-oil-fields-Report-.html
less oil in the market means higher oil prices I would guess is why they still have them and we have not bombed them - - - Updated - - - I think we will help iraq retake them, I do not think we will bomb them
the matter is what US cares about is not human right or fighting against terrorism or peoples life or.... non of theses! what US wants is to keep Muslim countries backward and also show Islam as a terroristic ideology. that bring about many benefit first of all Israel will stay more safe because its main enemies are weak and busy with wars.and second what ever Muslims do to defend Palestine can be shown as terroristic activity and US can convince it's people to do any evil thing with Muslims. in the viewpoint of Americans US has this write to attack Muslim country, get their oil, kill them, bomb their cities, torture them, set sanctions against them and etc,. and if anyone ask why, the answer is they are all terrorist!even their child and women. also it doesn't matter what they do, they even don't have this right to defend their country against US soldier they can be killed and tortured ... U can see that very very well in movies too.any country that US has some political problem with is an evil in movies and Hollywood is very very useful here and do U know what was the result? most of the people in middle east hate US . http://foreignpolicy.com/2009/11/30...lims-has-the-u-s-killed-in-the-past-30-years/ that is not good.hope one day Americans get that is wrong way, so they stop US government
Do you think for a second the Iraqis are going to let us bomb tens of millions of dollars worth of their oil equipment that they want to retake?
Because the outcome of creating environmental disasters is worse. It would be a quick way to end it but its like cutting off your finger to fix a hangnail. Its far more efficient and neat to use boots on the ground. Unfortunately we elected obama who is either too stupid or radical to have done it before it became a mess.
I suppose it is because Iraq wants to recapture them, and they are quite expensive. I have also heard that ISIS burns oil on the fields which makes huge clouds which makes it impossible to see exactly where the rigs are, making them very hard to bomb. But I suppose that if the USA really wanted to bomb them, they could just carpet bomb the whole area rather than precision bomb.
