Whats your theory here? Do you honestly think the US sent these helicopters to Israel in the 80s or 90s, Israel then used them for 10-20 years, decommissioned them in 2013, ALL so Israel could then transfer them to Jordan in 2015? I think your theory demonstrate the absurdity of your views

The American Revolution, and the French, Russian, Chinese, and other revolutions were not founded on the belief that a privileged elite royalty should rule, but that all people are created equal.

Some people don't understand American history:

They already have - gave Iran gazillions of dollars which Iran will undoubtedly use to improve the standard of living of its citizens.

    Heaven is NOT a Democracy.
    and
    Democracy is NOT Heaven

The Jordanian monarchy has a history of being an 'enlightened' monarchy back to the partition of Palestine.
The Jordanian people have enjoyed the Freest Arabian nation
and one of the most stable economies for the region.

I just do not understand dissing the Jordanian monarchy anymore than the Brit or Thai.
The Jordanian monarchy is, "one of the good ones".

Keep in mind The Lord did not dictate the American system and it certainly has
    $ plutocratic $ faults

    After thoughts:
I remember seeing the departed, King Hussain on late night TV chatting away.
One of his stories was how he would sneak out of the palace at night, incognito and "be with his people".
Well one time he was in a Taxi and was complaining about the King when the driver took offense and he learned first hand, not to diss the King. He seemed like a genuinely "nice guy", and did marry an American, Queen Noor.

This board is host to lots of low, bigoted, prejudiced unsubstantiated rants, fershur
Hateful towards Jewish folks, Russia, Israel, Black people, Hispanics, etc.
Those that deserve it like France, don't seem to get much of it.
And I feel so very alone calling out
    :flagcanada:

So, and truly, I am just trying to understand the diss on Jordan.
I hope it is beyond the label of being a parliamentary monarchy or enlightened monarchy.

Why, he is a good intelligent debater, whether you agree or disagree with his views.... We have some complete morons here from time to time though, whose contribution to the debates is an idiotic statement like some countries must be overthrown and others eliminated.

Yes.......... Jordan has made a really interesting deal with the Norwegians to give an example of how deserts can be turned green.

In theory.......... perhaps Canada's very pro-Israeli P. M. could play a significant role in assisting Jordan and Israel to take cooperation to an even higher level.

We have a lot to loose if we don't.

The world highest tides occur in Canada's Bay of Fundy between Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and the State of Maine.

The difference between low tide to high tide near where I live in Nova Scotia is only a little over one meter.

Near Truro, N. S. and Moncton, N. B. the difference between low tide to high tide is fifteen to seventeen meters.

If ocean levels rose by an average of thirty centimetres would high tides be up by 4.5 meters along parts of the Bay of Fundy? The way the Bay of Fundy is shaped it tends to FUNNEL tidal waters.

    30 cms x 15 = 450cms or 4.5 meters.

There are 143,000 acres of very productive farmland along the Fundy that are protected by dikes. This land is arguably the most vulnerable land in the world to the threat of rising ocean levels?

EVERY CUBIC METER OF OCEAN WATER THAT IS DESALINATED AND ADDED TO THE WATER TABLE OF JORDAN, will NOT be on top of New Orleans, New Jersey, parts of Florida, islands in the Caribbean, Bangladesh, The Netherlands or those 143,000 acres along the Bay of Fundy.

Courtesy of Israeli Agriculture Technology, shared with :flagcanada: & others to circuitously share with Jordan as an expression of "human".
There still exist "stuff" even Jordan dare not be too direct or progressive compared to its' neighbors.

Instead of giving Israel weapons that it can give to other countries, it would make much more sense for the US government to spend the money on repaying its $18 trillion national debt

It might also make sense if you try understand how the military industrial complex relates to paying those taxes in the US, clearly something you don't grasp at this point.

Why do you think the US has a military industrial complex and how do you think it generates income which then pays taxes to the government.

    Give it some thought.

Most of the debt is the result of the military industrial complex, as one saw with the wars in Iraq and Afganistan.

America buying its own weapons from itself IS part of an economic plan....not to mention the good use of it and security it provides it other deals.

Come on guys, stop that typical Israeli nonsense when it comes to U.S military spending. It doesn't benefit U.S taxpayer one bit. Of course, Israelis are happy because they got goodies for free. Everyone loves freebies. But the fact is that the U.S taxpayer foots the bill.

It appears that Yetzerhara actually doesn't have a clue how much U.S taxpayer's money the Pentagon wasted.

I think the question is why do they continue to aid if it strains their economy so much as you say, why Obama - who is the least loving president Israel had - continue to increase the budget despite his support of a European boycott on WB settlements, obviously its not for the love if Israel.

Just like Americans were put to work to Gov enterprises during the great depression so are they put to work on American arms, its money that returns to America while achieving other objectives in the process.

If they could sell it all at full price to another country Im sure they wouldn't give it as aid to Israel....

America needs to buy its own debt instead of financing the Israeli hatred and murder of Semites.

I don't dispute that the U.S establishment have their own calculations. Arming Israel benefits some of them greatly. On the other hand ordinary U.S taxpayers are victims so to speak. They're footing the bill and get two fingers in return.

There are good reasons why U.S continue supplying Israel with freebies. But the point still stands, there are zero benefits for the majority of ordinary Americans.
