But those were analog phones. Obama came out with free 21st Century cell phones. :cheerleader:

Republicans have never even had a non white guy get second running for president and the dems also have not done that. White race bias is obvious in white the culture. Obama did not even win the majority white vote in 2008. Whites are race bias on both sides.

I was thinking about the debate after a bit of time passed, and it appears to me that the debate was one of the best run, best moderated, with the best questions I have ever seen. How so? Did you notice how few times the 30 second bell went off while candidates were answering? It was a pretty rare occurrence. And why was that? I think the questions were unexpected by the candidates. They were questions that couldn't be answered by a 30 second sound bite or by plugging a portion of the candidates stump speech into the answer. Most candidates answered the questions with time left over. When was the last time you saw that happen? Like never.

The moderators managed to ask questions which would allow candidates to separate themselves from others without getting all snarky to one another. Brett Baier and Megyn Kelley have got to be the best and smartest journalist in the country.

:alcoholic:How about your dear Ubama. He's been in for six years and all he wants to do is give them a free pass. He has really made an * * * of himself and the left. By the way Trump has faced immigration many times. Try watching something other than the left media...you just might learn something.

I saw that "Trumped" up BS Luntz did. He made sure that focus group had Trump haters in it, it was obvious. I used to like FOX but for a while now I've been seeing that they are just the mouthpiece for the Establishment.

How clueless are you to not know that "voting your skin color" also means voting for politicians who pander to the person's skin color? Which is why 95% of blacks vote for democrats, and the other so called minorities aren't all that far behind.

Republicans on the other hand, at least for the most part, design programs applicable to all skin colors, not programs specially propagandized to one ethnicity or another.

The blacks are not turning out in the masses to elect in Hilary, not happening. Probably half that voted before wont even show up this time. I am thrilled about a potential actual black president who is a actual Doctor and not someone who has the qualifications to be a match.com community organizer. Change is coming and I think most are grasping that.

Did Debbie Wasserman Schultz send you those talking points, or did you make them up yourself?

Only a really dumbed down electorate would not see the thru the maddening repetition of debating the same old (*)(*)(*)(*) over and over again. Abortion rights...AGAIN??? The GOP is so stale that they have mold around the edges. They lost the ACA debate, so now its back to the old standby of creeping around in the wombs of others. Embarrassing for the country.

Did anyone FORCE those Planned Parenthood people to wrangle over money for baby parts? They seemed to relish talking about it.

By suppressing the vote, do you mean asking for a photo ID? Most countries do it. I don't call that suppression. Dems need illegals to vote. Sorry...

Hillary is OWNED by Wall Street fat cats. Google if you dare. She speaks with forked tongue, but you should know that by now. In other words, she says one thing, but does another. 54% o f American voters do NOT trust her and that will only get worse with this criminal investigation.

There are a lot of gays who are Republicans. Dems don't own them.

You really should try stopping your attempts to deflect the attention from the GOP candidates and Trumpy, it only makes you look desperate. Trumpy is clueless when it comes to illegals and Mexicans, strange since he uses them himself.

How Cruz and Kasich can both be considered Republicans, by Republicans, is beyond me. One or the other is NOT a Republican.

In case you haven't figured it out yet, the only sickos creeping around in the wombs of others are the abortionists at Planned Parenthood.

In case you haven't figured it out yet, Planned Patenthood does more than abortions and those that go there for one do so voluntarily. Don't want an abortion don't have one, what other people do when it comes to medical procedures is none of your business.

I was only able to catch a short part of the beginning of the upper tier. So all I can give is initial impressions of that group.

I was pleasantly surprise to see the questions weren't softballs.

Christie: Was surprised to see he made it into the upper tier. Too much baggage, and I don't think he has a personality suited to being president.

Rubio: The most presidential sounding of the bunch after the initial round of questions.

Carson: He's supposed to be the brainiac of the group, right? He didn't sound all that smart to me. It's possible to be a quiet man, yet still have a commanding presence - but for me Carson isn't that guy.

Walker: Creepy amateur with extreme views. A sure loser if the GOP selects him as the nominee.

Trump: Bombastic as always. Not presidential. He lost me with the "we need to build a wall" nonsense - couldn't discern if he meant a literal wall or a metaphorical one. Wouldn't answer Wallace when pressed concerning his evidence that the Mexican government is behind illegal immigration and sending us 'rapists'. Moreover, there is more to being president than sound bites. We need a strong leader, but talking tough and being forceful doesn't communicate real strength to me; instead, he comes across as someone trying to cover his own shortcomings by putting on a sideshow. Less impressed than ever.

Bush: He's no 'dubya', but that's not a good thing, either. Zero charm. Clumsy. The phrase that comes to mind is "what a weenie!"

    Huckabee: Nutjob. Enough said.

Cruz: The other nutjob. The sound of his voice alone makes me want to throw things. But good on him for calling out McConnell and refusing to be a team player for the Republican establishment. They need someone to shake them up. But Cruz isn't just rattling the cage - he's poking them with a pointy stick, and I can't really discern any purpose to it, beyond trying to bring attention to himself for his presidential bid. So ultimately a thumbs-down. He doesn't strike me as particularly smart.

Paul: A flip-flopper wannabe. I actually think he suffers from the same problems that plagued Romney - you can't nail him down. Cruz-light when it comes to being anti-establishment.

Kasich: Maybe VP material, but can't see him as president.

Would I vote for any of them? Probably not, but I'm not exactly impressed with what the Democrats have to offer, either. May have to 'waste' my vote on a third party candidate.

The Nazis did more than exterminate people, they also built some really great highways and infrastructure. And tell me this, when has a child in the womb ever volunteered to be aborted?

The right wingers have womb envy. Women make choices and have the right to handle their own health and reproductive issues. No one forces them to use the services of Planned Parenthood..as opposed to the right wing that gets their rocks off by attempting to dictate what women can and cannot choose to do with their own bodies. Be the steward of your own womb and reproductive organs and if you do not have your own, do not trespass in the wombs of others as it is rather unseemly and in its own way...perverse.

:nana:Making comparisons is not deflecting. You should know better. The left do it all the time. They are asked a question and try and go off on another topic. I guess its ok when they do it...right.

Do not attempt to bring Nazis into the discussion, I know far more about them that you even will, it is part of my heritage, some good does not justify much evil. They are not children until they have a brain and become a person, a fetus has not reached that level and is only a potential human until a person moves in.

Yes, he looked....weak.....I doubt he will be there at the end if he continues with that presentation, which is probably a good thing. Fiona will probably get a good bump up and I predict by the time one or two more debates go by at least half of them will be gone, another good thing.

You're forgetting what elections were like before Obama, before the record turnout of black voters, when suddenly millions became interested in elections.

You won't get that this time....."for obvious reasons".
