Yes, I read that article in a magazine called 'The Voice of the Martyrs'. It writes about modern Christian persecution and also features stories about christian missionaries, and those that fight oppression. The mag also funds smuggling bibles into atheist and Muslim countries where they are outlawed. Just when I think Dumbbamma can do no worse something like this atrocity comes out. Obama gave visas to every member of an Iraqi delegation of minority groups, including representatives of the Yazidi and Turkmen Shia religious communities. Well almost every member of minority groups, he agreed with the denied Sister Diana Momeka (of the Dominican Sisters of Saint Catherine of Siena visa) Visa. I suppose Muslims are made men and Christians and Israelis are considered lepers. I will be more than overjoyed when Obama's time is up.

Washington is fearful of the Catholic Church, and what the nun would reveal to its constituents. Unlike the MSM, the Catholic magazines and newsletters do not follow the 'Washington' line. Not allowing the nun to visit and speak to Congress, might be a warning or even a payback for going against Obama when he wanted to bomb Syria after the false flag chemical attack. Morality is non existent in Washington, so it's incomprehensible to them. This is why I consider them sociopaths. Washington sees it as just another power struggle.

I know the Pope asked Vladimir Putin among others to see what he could do to stop the bombing, and I know it was Putin's peace initiative in Syria that turned Washington adamantly against him. I see the battle as one against Christianity...and it's not just Obama, it's all the neo cons. When the Syrian Patriarch spoke in front of Congress, McCain got up and walked away...and that is troublesome since he's a Christian Baptist. He also met with the terrorists in Syria after they had massacred a Christian town. What a testimony to the faith he belongs to.

This is what Archbishop Jeanbart of Aleppo’s Melkite Greek Catholic Church explained:

Christians are terrified by the Islamist militias and fear that in the event of their victory they would no longer be able to practice their religion and that they would be forced to leave the country. As soon as they reached the city [of Aleppo], Islamist guerrillas, almost all of them from abroad, took over the mosques. Every Friday, an imam launches their messages of hate, calling on the population to kill anyone who does not practice the religion of the Prophet Muhammad. They use the courts to level charges of blasphemy. Who is contrary to their way of thinking pays with his life.

"All the news that's fit to print" The Whitehouse, most of Congress and the mass media are desperately trying to maintain the "necessary illusion" that there we were supporting a "moderate Free Syrian Army".

For the first two years of the armed insurrection there was no "Moderate FSA" and this term only came into existence after the massive humanitarian crisis and the US had to cover its backside.

The big elephant that must be kept hidden is that we were arming and supporting an Islamist extremist movement (including Al Qaeda and Al Nusra) that wants to eradicate secular systems of Government in the Middle east and replace it with Strict Sharia.

Even before taking up arms the Protest (which did include some moderates) was dominated by the extremists who were forcing Christians to either join the protests or leave the country.

    http://www.christianpost.com/news/c...om-anti-government-protestors-in-syria-50104/

    This was May 2011.

When the armed insurrection got into full gear there was nothing moderate about it. This was an extremist dominated movement right from the get go with a Strict Sharia agenda.

The US, along with the Saudi's and other middle eastern countries were supporting this extremist movement right from the get go an that dirty little secret must be hidden from the citizens for a little longer.

Washington is still arming and training Al Queda extremists in Turkey, knowing full well they'll be joining up with ISIS and taking their American toys with them. I consider this genocide of the Christians and other minorities in the Middle East, the same as I consider the war being fought in Ukraine as genocide against the people of the Donbas, as well as the poor conscripts who are being ill trained and sent to die.

    more from the link provided:

".... ...She told me in a phone conversation that, to her face, consular officer Christopher Patch told her she was denied because she is an "IDP" or Internally Displaced Person. "That really hurt," she said. Essentially, the State Department was calling her a deceiver.

The State Department officials made the determination that the Catholic nun could be falsely asserting that she intends to visit Washington when secretly she could be intending to stay. That would constitute illegal immigration, and that, of course, is strictly forbidden. Once here, she could also be at risk for claiming political asylum, and the U.S. seems determined to deny ISIS's Christian victims that status.

The writer then outlined Sister Diana's reasons for her visit and the endorsements she received from two politicians – one Republican and one Democrat:

In reality, Sister Diana wanted to visit for one week in mid-May. She has meetings set up with the Senate and House foreign-relations committees, the State Department, USAID, and various NGOs. In support of her application, Sister Diana had multiple documents vouching for her and the temporary nature of her visit. She submitted a letter from her prioress, Sister Maria Hana. It attested that the nun has been gainfully employed since last February with the Babel College of Philosophy and Theology in Erbil, Kurdistan, and is contracted to teach there in the 2015–16 academic year.

She also submitted an invitation from her sponsors, two highly respected Washington-area institutions, the Institute for Global Engagement and former congressman Frank Wolf's (R., Va.) 21st Century Wilberforce Initiative. For good measure, she also had a letter of endorsement for her visit from Representative Anna Eshoo (D., Calif.).
... ...Shea lamented: "The State Department wasn't buying. It either thought that they were all in on a scheme by the nun or that Sister Diana was plotting to deceive her well-placed friends and supporters, as well as the U.S. government."

Sister Diana has actually visited the United States before. On May 17, 2012, the Dominican sister gave the graduate commencement address for the Chicago Theological Union. Sister Diana's classmates chose her for this honor, and the prioress of her Iraqi congregation attended the ceremony. Since her graduation with a Doctor of Ministry degree, the sister has become a prominent member of the displaced Christian community in Iraq after ISIS violently took over parts of the Nineveh Plain – a detail that Shea pointed out:

...Sister Diana had a distinguished academic career and had been teaching an intensive course on spiritual direction at St. Ephrem Seminary, as well as English and peacemaking courses. She, along with the town's 50,000 other, mostly Christian, residents, fled for their lives from ISIS during the second week of August. Since then, the 30-something religious woman has served as a spokesperson for this community, as well as for the over 100,000 other Christians driven into Kurdistan under the ISIS "convert or die" policy....Mr. Wolf, who met her in Kurdistan a few months ago, explained, "We had hoped to facilitate her trip to the States so that she could speak with great candor, as is her custom, to policymakers. Perhaps just as significantly, we viewed her as a critical voice to awaken the church in the West to the suffering of Christians and other religious minorities in Iraq."

Christianity Facing Mideast Purge Within Decade...

On the brink: Christianity facing Middle East purge within decade, says group
November 9, 2015 - The dwindling Christian population of the Middle East could vanish completely within a decade unless the global community intervenes, say alarmed aid groups who say followers of the Bible are being killed, driven from their land or forced to renounce their faith at an unprecedented pace.

So have anyone of you asked the questions like "Do we know for a fact she's a nun?" Did they do a background check on her to see that she myth not be persecuted as she claims she is being.

We have worked vigorously on the issue of protecting the minority communities. ISIL is certainly targeting the Christian community, but is also targeting the Mandaeans, the Shabak, certainly the Yezidis that explicitly said it wanted to wipe out here.

So it is trying to decimate and eviscerate the presence of those very communities here. And we know that if there’s going to be a possibility to bring them home, we know what the ingredients are going to be. I’ve spoken on this publicly to a number of the major Christian groups who are concerned about this, but also the groups that are concerned about the—in meetings with the Yezidi, the Shia Muslim groups from the area who are affected by this as well.

Others may not know this like Americans do ... Obama doesn't give a rat's butt about whites, Christians, or capitalists.

Black, Muslim socialists are welcomed with open arms.

Is that why Wall Street has never been higher? Is that why he pushed through TPP?
Should I be worried about my usually excellent media not reporting the truth about America? Are you all in reality living in slavery under Maobama's tyranny?

In American politics, the Democrats are for the very wealthy (Wall Street) and illegal aliens. The Republican Party is for the middle class taxpayer. Wall Street is very friendly to Obama and Hillary because their policies tilt power to Wall Street and away from ordinary Americans involved with small and medium sized businesses.

Democrats are great at crony capitalism, not real capitalism.

Obama denies Visa to Nun Pleading For Persecuted Iraqi Christians

Well, of course he did. The Islamist Sympathizer & Enabler in Chief can't have an Iraqi Christian talking to American audiences about the persecution her people have suffered at the hands of the Islamists that Obama steadfastly ignored until they beheaded James Foley and Steven Sotloff.

It's worth noting that this is the same scofflaw who got smacked down by a federal appeals court yesterday for illegally issuing an executive order that allows millions of illegal immigrants to enter and stay in this country in violation of the law.

Right from the get go the protest movement was taken over by extremists. By the time armed insurgency broke out the movement was run by the extremists.

This is from the "Christian Post" ... obviously concerned about the persecution of Christians .. during the protest movement in 2011

    http://www.christianpost.com/news/c...om-anti-government-protestors-in-syria-50104/

You are correct in blaming Obama but not in singling him out. The whole military industrial complex is in on the game.

We (in conjunction with ME allies - Saud, Turkey and others) have been arming, supporting and protecting Islamic extremists (Al Qaeda, Al Nusra, Salafi's - members of which then formed ISIS) right from the beginning.

The "moderate myth" is something that has been propagated as cover and everyone is in on the game including the mainstream media.

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/alastair-crooke/russia-syria-isis-al-qaeda_b_8259870.html

    http://russia-insider.com/en/politics/lavrov-show-us-your-fake-free-syrian-army/ri10286

This was Rand Paul on "Stat of the Union"

So where is the media coverage discussing why we were arming Islamic Extremists ? It seems everyone else takes this as a matter of fact but our media ?

This is one of those "unmentionable" topics that if spoken ends a journalists career in this country ... like Phil Donahue and others.

Where are the reporters on the front line where this supposedly "moderate" army is fighting ? This war has been going on for almost 4 years now. Where are these moderates.

We have been trying to give the moderate rebel fiction more credibility of late. We spent millions of dollars training 60 folks who claimed to be moderates but as soon as the training was done they went running into the arms of the extremists to give them weapons.

    http://www.independent.co.uk/voices...ared-and-there-are-no-good-guys-a6679406.html

"Patrick Cockburn is an Irish journalist who has been a Middle East correspondent since 1979 for the Financial Times and, presently, The Independent. Among the most experienced commentators on Iraq, he has written four books on the country's recent history. Cockburn's latest book is The Rise of Islamic State: ISIS and the New Sunni Revolution"

    http://therealnews.com/t2/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=31&Itemid=74&jumival=12373

So every time the State Department or Pentagon talks about "Russia is attacking moderates and not ISIS" for all intensive purposes this is a lie. A lie designed to cover up the fact that we have been supporting the extremists.

The "after the fact" attempts to create a "moderate rebel" presence in an attempt to cover up this lie are failing miserably.

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/wor...ons-over-to-al-Qaedas-affiliate-in-Syria.html

Even the NY-Times, struggling to maintain some vestige of credibility reports:

    http://www.nytimes.com/2015/10/13/world/middleeast/syria-russia-airstrikes.html

So some group calling themselves "FSA" are fighting alongside the Qaeda-affiliated Nusra front.

So supposedly some "so called moderates" that we admit to arming fight along side the group that did 911 .. and these groups give Al Nusra their weapons.... like .. anti aircraft missiles that these groups could use to take out planes shortly after take-off.

    The article goes on:

How can one not agree with Assad's assessment of the situation ?

We have Al Qaeda, Al Nusra, Salafi's ISIS all running around Syria and Iraq armed to the teeth with sophisticated US weapons .. but, supposedly we have only been arming the "moderates" which are likened to mythical unicorns and claimed to be virtually non-existent even by the Pentagon.

This is really a sick page in our foreign policy history.
